Gronholt Zenith Jumppoint
Gronholt System
Lead by a Cameron class battlecruiser, a number of jumpships began arriving in at the Gronholt zenith point. Aerospace fighters were released to carry out their CAP taskings, while the jumpships that had accompanied the giant Warship orientated themselves to release dropships.
With the last of the jumpships present and reporting full readiness, the Blockade was fully established while the ground force headed towards the planet, escorted the entire way by a shield of aerospace fighters and their dropships.
ooc:
Cameron class Black Prince, along with supporting aerospace assets, establish the blockade. Other ASF forces undertake Naval Engagement (Offense) orders.
Ground force command intent is to destroy any Dark forces on planet.
When the Broken Wheel Militia arrived in system, they got a rude suprise, the Fox Class vessel that was supposed to cover their approach was not at the jump point with them. Lt General Matthew Harlock-Morrison ordered his own air cover to take point and check for any Dark forces on interdiction. After he did so, he sent went to the Black Box and sent a fax to New Avalon appriasing them of the situation.
Broken Wheel Aerospace Brigade - 8 FP
Broken Wheel CrMM - 53 FP
Planetary Defense Force - 6 FP

You arrive just after a Blockade has been set up. You see a Cameron class battlecruiser, several jumpships of Inner Sphere manufacture, and a Clan one. And numerous ASF. All IFF indicate Horse Alliance vessels. Enjoy! :)
"Horse Fleet, this is Lt General Matthew Harlock-Morrison of the Federated Suns. Your efforts to reclaim Great Gorge from the Dark are not unknown to us and allowed us to move on Gronholt and Vackisujfalu ahead of schedule. The people that survived the massacre are now being looked after. However, the general state of affairs between our nations is not one would exactly call, of peace. Please state your intentions." Mathew turned off the microphone. It was very important when dealing wich clanners to speak in a clear voice and state everything clearly. He was the only member of his command staff to face action against a Clan. It seemed like a lifetime ago that he was fighting for the 4th at Fort Loudon against the Faclons.
Star Commodore Kiara Dwelley, standing on the bridge of the Cameron class battlecruiser Black Prince, turned as Galaxy Commander Unther Cooper requested permission to enter onto her bridge. Having just heard the incoming message from the Davion officer, she was ready to offer her command in any trial against the newcomers for the right to take the world below when her communications officer announced a second incoming call. This time from the flagship. Within seconds, both officers were able to see up on the screen, the fleet commander.
"Star Commodore Dwelley. Galaxy Commander Cooper. I am glad that both of you are present together," stated Jeff Pemrick. "I understand that your troops are even now detaching to journey to planetside Galaxy Commander, however with the arrival of the Davion force we both can see, it is my intent to allow them to reclaim their own. Primarily as Gronholt is a Davion world, and it should be Davion troops freeing their citizens from these Dark invaders."
At the announcement from the Outworlder officer, Kiara Dwelley outlook took on a hostile look. However before she could respond, Unther Cooper, who had interacted extensively with Outworld personnel for several years and who was welll aware of the Kahn's requirements, stepped into the breach. "I might point out Admiral Pemrick, that allowing the Davion force unfettered opportunity to take the world could be construed as a slight on the honour of all of our warriors, however as any opposition is only of Dark origin, then this is a moot point. However it is something to bear consideration of for the future. Quiaff?"
"Indeed Galaxy Commander. A valid point. And one I shall remember.

"General Harlock-Morrison. I am Admiral Jeff Pemrick of the Horse Alliance fleet. Out intent here is the same as at Great Gorge and before that, Maram. To destroy any and all Dark forces found and retun the system to Federated Suns control. Given your arrival, I have confered with the ground force commander and cede the duty of returning this world and the people living on it to the House of Davion, to you. As is fitting. We will hold our position here to enable you to carry out your operation."
Bump. Fate... do you have a response.
Waiting for Little to post if there are any forces to oppose the Landing
Dark militia will engage the enemy.

Aaaw man, now I really have failed Lord Harlock. :(
"Galaxy Commander Cooper. Admiral Pemrick here. The Davions have reported the destruction of the Dark militia on-planet and have therefore recaptured the system. Of note, they mentioned that their commander, a General Harlock-Morrison was killed in his Mech leading the last push against the Militia position. We have yet to hear word from their second-in-command as to their next course of action."
Unther Cooper took in the news from the Outworlder Admiral with little outward expression. Privately he wondered why the Davion commander was leading his forces against the Dark, when he should have had a subordinate lead against such an inconsequential foe, yet perhaps his force was green and an example had to be made. That the man died in combat, liberating his lower caste from the Dark scum was admirable though, and an action his family would be justly pride.
"Do we have the name of the Davion's second, Admiral? And what are their intentions, now that Gronholt is secured?"
