At Marshall's Zenith, many IR signatures went off: Clan Ice Hellion was here to bring justice.

Several Warships and Jumpships brought death for the traitors.

"Star Admiral, we are on site. Commencing unlocking of our Groundbound Warriors."

Rudolphe Rood was pleased to hear no damage report or accident. "Excellent. Set course. Open a Channel for all."

"This is Star Admiral Rudolphe Rood. I am here to remove the cancer that once was Clan Goliath Scorpion from our midst. You are bloodfoul and deserve no mercy. All Loyal Clan Commands are advised to stay away or coordinate with me."

Several Cluster's worth of Dropships went to the Ex-Scorpion enclave.

I guess the Hellions come first.

Any resistance on the ground?

Hastily organized forces from the Science Caste training camps assemble to repel your attacks

1st Provisional Marshall Cluster -- 9 FP G/R
2nd Provisional Marshall Cluster -- 9 FP G/R

Scientists simple resolution roll
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 5, 2, total 7[/blockquote]

91,5 FP of Ground and Aerospace meet that force.

[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 1, 4, total 5[/blockquote]

Scientists deal 7.25 FP of damage

Scientist force wiped out.

Marshall is now free of scum.

Salvage:

=[blockquote]Rolled 2d6+15 : 5, 2 + 15, total 22[/blockquote]

The question is, how did they get such forces. Any survivors are thoroughly inquisited.

0,75 is field repair.

22 % from 24,5 FP is 5,39 rounding up to 5.5 FP salvage.

The defenders fought to the bitter end and took very heavy casualties, but you still captured a number of them. They appear to be a mix of science caste personnel, dark caste mercenaries, and over-age Goliath Scorpion warrior caste trainers. Under "enhanced interrogation" you learn the following:

An Investigation mission may reveal more.

Does evacuation mean that the research facilities are still intact? Because we would look that up.

It takes some time (till the end of the turn basically) to track down all of the facilities and quite a few of them have been burned to the ground. Two facilities, however, are still standing (though they have been mostly stripped of equipment and records). Both appear to be weapons development labs, and one has an small adjoining production plant that appears to have once contained heavy machinery for manufacturing ammuntion.

An Investigate mission could possibly reveal more information about exactly what they were working on.

The prisoners are sent to Strana Mechty for further inquisition by the InterClanWatch.
