Hi folks, as some have observed I am drowning in paperwork at the moment, and after discussions with LittleH(auptmann)13, he has agreed to assist with FGC in the same capacity he is currently helping with Flashpoint.
Josh's responsibilities will be as follows:
- Making combat/RP posts for GM factions, and playing for GM factions in MegaMek
- Assisting players with orders completion and with rules questions
- Making "GM" die rolls and assisting with administrative tasks such as events notification
- Assisting with end-of-turn simple resolution of unfinished combat threads
Josh will not be responsible for the following - the following issues should be brought to my attention...
- Creating new rules or issuing eratta for existing rules
- Resolving OOC disputes, sportsmanship complaints, or cheating allegations
Please contact Josh and I if you have any questions about the above...
Regards,
~Dave B.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be around until this weekend. Something IRL has come up and I have to deal with that before I do anything in any RPG.

As soon as he is made Hauptmann, he is gone again. ;)
Anyway, I approve for the Promotion to Regelhauptmann. ;)
Whos idea was that in the first place?
Huh? HUH? :D
Let us kick some ass then.
Ok guys....I will put this out there now but please do not say one word to my wife via PM or IM. She had a miscarriage on Wednesday so I am dealing with stuff around the house and a very emotional wife.
-Josh
I requested the title of Hauptmann. It is my favorite IS mech after all. :P

Hi guys, while talking with Josh at work today, he made an offer to anyone who is interested.
As most of you are aware, there are a wide variety of different personalized versions of the orders sheet out there, some of which are very arcane and/or not fully compliant with the current rules (especially in terms of not having all of the different spending options listed).
In the long run, I am looking to move to a single common orders sheet, but that is still probably several months off.
In the short term, Josh has offered to go through and update, restructure, and generally clean up any orders sheets that are proving difficult to work with. He has also offered to help the metafactions complete their monthly orders, on the condition that he is given very clear instructions about what they are planning to do.
Josh has informed me that if there is high demand for his help, he will do his best to assist people on a first-come-first-serve basis, so please contact him ASAP if you are interested in this service.
I've just offered to assist with the SLDF orders in anohter thread to halp alleviate the GM work pressure. Just let me know.

One minor note, please include Josh on PMs that need to be copied to the GMs so that he can stay in the loop.
Thanks :D

I recently saw the old order sheet for the Marian Hegemony. It might have made sense to the last faction player, but it nearly caused me an aneurysm. Fortunately Josh offered to reorganize it before the arterial walls in my brain could burst.
It is much appreciated.
