[OCC Draconis Combine blockade is established]
Space was ripped open by multiple emergence waves which signaled the arrival of visitors to the ravaged world of Schwartz, hundreds of jumpships appeared out the void but one in particular seemed more menacing; the Yamato-class Yamato pride of the Admiralty readied itself for combat.
"Tai-sa all commands report ready, establishing the blockade."
"Excellent inform all commands and give me a picture of what is around us," spoke Tai-sa Seiichi Itō commander of the massive ship.

"It seems the Stravags do have some fight in them. The Khan wishes for us to wait. So we wait."
"Star Commander, priority transmistion from Loremaster Campbell."
"Put it through to the Holotank"
"Star Admiral Mitchell Boques you are hereby ordered to take command of the Beta Naval Star. And procede to carry out Operation True Blood as directed by ...our...Khan..."
The last words were almost bitterly spat out by the Loremaster showing his obvious distaste for the new plan of action.
"Loremaster Campbell, We are currently awaiting the end of negotiations between our Khan and the Combine's Coordinator, if we..."
"I'm sorry I thought I was addressing a True Born Warrior of Clan Blood Spirit not a preening politician of Clan Jade Falcon! Star Admiral if you cannot stop dissembling like a Ice Hellion and comport yourself as a Blood Spirit perhaps you should render command to your subordinate! The Khans orders stand! My orders stand! If the Khan wanted you to "await" the Kuritan negotiations she would have ordered she has not! Now go and if the Kuritans stand in the way. Slay them!"
"Aff Loremaster!"
"Comm station open a channel to the Combine Warfleet!"
"Dezgra freebirths of the Combine I am Star Admiral Mitchell Boques of this Blood Spirit Taskforce. With what forces do you bid to prevent our departure!"
OOC: Really want to MegaMek this one haven't done a Bspace game in along time. :-)
"My bid gives you the same chance that you gave the citizens of Schwartz to protect themselves," replied Tai-sa Seiichi Ito.

[OCC I am worried about the scale of the fight and MMAeros ability to handle it, a solo elite Black Lion is roughly 400,000 BV meaning that at the DCs 2.8x advantage (my FP/your FP) it would have to field 1.12 million BV. I wish we can find some way to work it out.]

OOC - you guys could scale it down to smaller ships (with similarly smaller fighter forces) at the same BV proportion. That might alleviate the strain on MM.
I hear you guys on this and I'm fine with scaling the Dships and Fighters but...I'd like to keep everyone's capital ships on the board if at all possible.
If we try it and its completely unworkable I'm fine with working out the capital ship scaling beforehand so we can just switch.
[OCC Fielding your ships is roughly 800,000BV meaning i need to field 2.24M BV; which wont work. Warships arent the problem its the massive fighters i would need to field. I can see the York representing your warships with fighter and DS support, against my force, something like that.
Ok just for me to understand properly how many fighters did you bring?
[OCC Whatever BV you field, the DC can field 2.8 times that BV, thats the main sticking point. OCC]
[OCC If i can find enough proxies, we can break the fight down into multiple fights. OCC]
I can assist with Proxy is needed. The way I see it, you have about 1000 Squadrons of 6 fighters each. Break it down by what you would throw up against each ship for Round 1. It would only help the Spirits if you didn't converge fire on the Lion with everything.
Sounds good to me. How shall we do this? I can schedule for anytime on a Saturday or Sunday with at least one day notice.
Or anytime Between 6:00 p.m.CST and 4 a.m. CST M-F
<<puts on DCMS admiralty hat>> "You shall regret making this doji attack upon imperial space."
I will be the one taking this battle for the DCMS. I have a recommended strategy for completing this fight, and will PM it to the Spirits, DCMS and GMs.
[OCC because of the lack of activity and large numbers involved i am requesting that the first round of the battle be handled by simple res.

Hi Im reading the rules don't you just do 2d6*5% damage. I mean its a fairly forgone conclusion but you might roll snake eyes and give me another chance to run the blockade. :-)
Rocinante might still survive teh 2d6*5%, ok its unlikely but hope springs eternal! ;)
Running blockade rules are 8+ to escape if nothing the units go poof.
Thats how its happening at Leskovik, if you want to stop the running please say so and [we'll] work that way.
[Edit because i didnt type it right.]
Just read the other thread and fairs fair.
The Blockade Rule I was going by doesn't take effect until next turn, so don't worry about it.
:)
If you want to go another round of combat i am ok with it, since rules are hard to learn quickly.

GM has been allowing the 8+ Rule to be in effect.
