Title: 2014 NFL Football Season
Post by: GreyJaeger on April 25, 2014, 02:23:44 AM
http://www.nfl.com/schedules/2014/REG1 (http://www.nfl.com/schedules/2014/REG1)

Full 2014 NFL Season schedule is out.

My predication?

Chicago Bears go 11-5 at best, 9-7 most likely, 7-9 possible. Of course I am always happy with 8-8, as long as the Bears beat the Pack once.

Week 1 vs Bills- W
Week 2 @ Niners- L
Week 3 @ Jets- W
Week 4 vs Packers- W
Week 5 @ Panthers- L
Week 6 @ Falcons- W
Week 7 vs. Dolphins- W
Week 8 @ Patriots- L
Week 9 Bye
Week 10 @ Packers- L
Week 11 vs. Vikings- W
Week 12 vs. Buccaneers- W
Week 13 @ Lions- W
Week 14 vs. Cowboys- W
Week 15 vs. Saints- L
Week 16 vs. Lions- W
Week 17 @ Vikings- W

Well... I don't see them beating the packers - as sad as I am about that, I think it will be 2 losses against the Packers :(

I'll try to wach someof it online at nfl.com. My team picks late as befits the loser of the SubPar Bowl, so I might skip th first 8-10 picks.

Honestly, whats the point of watching the draft? To watch the drama of people walking on stage unfold slowly across 3 days???

Really, all you should care about is who your team picks. The Draft is just the NFL's way of making something thats not a big deal, into a big TV glut.

I just usually look in the paper the next day and see what grade we got. I mean for so many years the bears sucked with their 1st round draft pick that we wound up trading it away when we got Cutler. :P In retrospect though, we usually get a reaaaally good player in round 3...

Go Hawks!

Actually i don't follow American Football all that closely.  But with the Seahawks being just north of me, i have always followed them.  Lots of lean years (i remember the Mirer years even).

Wings lost :-(  Toughest team championship to win = Lord Stanley's Cup.  Toughest individual championship to win = Tour de France.

Go Blazers and Timbers and AZ and Ajax, while i'm at it.

they've won enough, doesn't mean they won't win more.  If they were good sports though...

So, the bears running game will remain potent for some time... we stole one of the best running back with the 117th pick, THEN signed Jordan Lynch as a free agent XD. GO HUSKIES!

ja I really hope the bears see a 'we play healthy' year

Nah Cutler will get injured midway through the season (Bears will be 6-2) and miss four games (Bears losing all 4) and miss the playoffs as Cutler loses two of the next 4. His backup will not be able to save the season this year.

I'm just trying to imagine what Run Defenses would do if they put Jordan Lynch in and went to a two back set.... Carey, Forte, Lynch...

Not likely anytime soon. They just signed him to a seven year contract. $54 million is guaranteed.
