Jump Signatures made clear that this was not a good day to travel from or to Odessa.
A Blockade is set up and many Droppers move onto the planet.
(further RP when I am in the mood, though.. or not.)
"Unidentified vessels, this is Odessa ground control. Announce your intentions, or we will regard you as hostiles."
Oh, almost forgot.

"Sensor contact!" now the tactical plotter was speaking hurriedly, "one WarShip, multiple JumpShips with probable carrier DropShip support, closing rapidly."

Raina's face went pale when she saw the amount of icons against her.
"Khan, this is nearly twice as much as we have." This was Lin Hasbrin, leading Star Admiral on the "Vigilant Spirit". Her voice seemed concerned.
This was a trap! And she had split her forces up too much. Against the overwhelming numbers of the Inner Sphere, this was a deadly fault.
She had to weigh her options fast...
while the "Chaos Sailor" under Star Commodore Huck Hakkinen moved in already against the Attackers to protect the Drop- and Jumpships along with the "Soryu".
"Khan, I expect you to take a Dropship immediately. I will have to engage those Scum and should we die here, we will let you the chance to avenge us at least. Now leave the bridge!" Lin barked.
OOC: what are the options here? Only fight? Or is a cowardly flight possible? (the coward in me wants to do just that.. :P)
(OOC: you would have to fight one round of combat since the Blockade order has already been issued, but after that you could withdraw since your forces are still "on the outside" of the star system - offensive interdiction won't really work)
69 FP of fighters and Warships will defend. The Sóryu will not take part in the fight.

The Blockade folds and CIH retreats wholly. First the Jumpships, then the Warships.
Lin, struggling to coordinate her fighters and Droppers, watched in Horror as the mass of fighters the enemy owned consumed the Chaos Sailor. Just repaired after the Battle of Sudeten, it was doomed. While the "Vigilant Spirit" had enough thrust to eventually get free of the followers, the Chaos Sailor had not. If was torn apart bit by bit.
"Goodbye Huck." she whispered when the claxons indicated their retreat. At least the Jump Ships went away before and the Khan was safe.
Curse those damned Terrans and their lackeys! She vowed revenge.
Field repairs for CIH: 5,75 FP.
85,5 FP left in salvage pool.
3,5 FP field repairs for Terran/SLDF force possible,
