Lieutenant-General Daniel Strickland was excited for his first command, although he was also somewhat apprehensive. Having to fight by Clan rules, that wasn't something he was happy about, and he knew many of the other generals shared his distaste. However, junior Generals don't question a direct order from the Archon.

"Star Adder forces, I amd Lieutenant-General Daniel Strickland of the 17th Arcturan Guards. We have come to win possession of this world from you in honorable combat. What forces will you defend with?"
