The command trinary of Sigma Galaxy were all long-service veterans in their late 20s. They had been fighting together for the past 4 years without a casualty, nearly unheard for a trinary-sized unit. They were not participating directly in these trials, Alexander having decided these were the perfect opportunity for the unblooded to show they could fight outside of a Trial of Position. He floated onto the bridge of the Outpost dropship that was transporting part of his force, and had a comtech hand him a ready headset.
"Star Adder garrison force, this is Galaxy Commander Alexander Roshak, Clan Jade Falcon Sigma Galaxy. I come to issue a Trial of Possession for this world. What forces will you bid to defend it?"
"Sir?"
Galaxy Commander Kelvin looked down from where he was servicing the hip actuator of his Warhawk to his senior trinary Star Captain on the ground. "Yes, Star Captain. What is it?"
"Star Adder Central is reporting the arrival of a Jade Falcon force. A Galaxy Commander Alexander Roshak from their Sigma Galaxy has issued a batchall for Apollo."
"I see. I will be done in ten minutes, however in the meantime inform Central that my two clusters stand ready."
We defend our claim with a single binary (1FP).
