The 1st Falcon Assault Cluster had yet to see real combat in the past 10 years, it's last fight being during the closing stages of the Lyran Civil War, fighting alongside their Khan as he helped the new Lyran Archon wipe away the last remnants of the CLP. Their commander was a well known veteran however, being one of the very few Wolves to fight within the Falcon galaxies. Nathan Kerensky was one of the leading voices for the Wolves, and the fact that he retained the respect of his fellow Wolves, and earned the respect of the Falcons, was a testament to his skills.
Nathan was quietly looking through reports of the previous stage of Trials, wondering if perhaps the token resistance was simply a trap to lure the Falcons away from their strongpoints. Sudeten was as strong a fortress as any save Terra herself, and Tharkad was never without her guardians either. The Falcon saKhan had been on world when the CLP sprung it's suprise trap, and he had vowed that such a suprise would never befall Sudeten, and the Archon had said the same for Tharkad. However, other important worlds had far less protection. Nathan did not look down on the Adders the way most of the Falcons did, but even he didn't think they would willingly sacrifice so many worlds just to try and overextend the Falcons and pull them out of position.
A ship's crewman informed him they were 10 hours from achieveing orbit, so he made his way carefully to the bridge to announce the intent of his force.
"Attention Star Adder defenders, this is Star Colonel Nathan Kerensky, commanding the 1st Falcon Assault Cluster. We have come to issue you a Trial of Possession for control of this world. What forces will you bid in defense of your planet?"
We will defend our claim with a single binary (1FP).
