inertion roll: (http://intelser.org/forums/Themes/default/images/dice_warn.gif) This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 2d6 : 6, 5, total 11
The Pirate entry is successful, defenders are scrambling to engage. I need to know what kind of raid this is, though.
Also need the FP used.
Raid Defense Force roll:
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 4, 1, total 5[/blockquote]
90 % defend. If you have a small force, we could do it on MM. Perhaps.
Remember, it's -2 on the roll when they successfully do Pirate Insertion, so the result is 5-2 = 3 75% of Attacker
He needs to declare intent of the raid, and FP of incoming.
5 FP 3rd Force Recon Battalion
Mission: Standard Raid *(extraction)
Not sure if I'm going to have time to MM this, if the reaction roll were sooner, maybe.
I assume by "Extraction" you mean "Resource Raid"?
QuoteResource Raid
Type: Raid
Minimum Force Size: None, but see below.
Effect: If successful, the raiders steal RP equal to the maximum RP output of the hex, or the total FP of the raiding force, whichever is less.

ummm...actually it's got to do with blowing my SF operations roll for this turn-the raid's cover to pull my team out...but resource raid works just as well.
<<strokes chin>> Good plan. ;)
4.5 FP defend. If anybody wants to MM this, feel free.
I'm up for a game tonight only and btw, Cats can respond with a max of 5 * .75 = 3.75 FP, my money's still on the cats in a Megamek game though, they have nice toys :)
ooc: Tonight's a work-night for me. (well, every night monday-friday and sometimes Sat&Sun too) If there's a proxy who'll run it in MM, and is available, I'll accept the result even if it means getting corn-cobbed.
Thats true on the Toy issue. If Niflsmeet goes fast, Fate, then we could tackle this. It is close enough. And scaling down nicely could make it fast too.
I've got barely enough time for the niflsmeet. :P I have to go to a graduation / birthday party on saturday. I'm dedicating 3 hours to that, then I have to get going. If people show up on time and we move along steadily, we'll knock it out. If for some reason it goes superfast, then we can play this out. But with the meet's set up, I doubt it.
OOC: Ok, then I guess it wont happen. Its not a problem though, all Cat related stuff is more of a burden lately anyway. (Although I love my own Cats. ;) )
Let there be..fight!
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 2, 3, total 5[/blockquote]
OOC: at least you roll reasonably, CS.
IC: The Cats prepare to fight too.
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 4, 5, total 9[/blockquote]
crit?
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 6, 3, total 9[/blockquote]
1 crit. And so awesomely important. :P
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 2, 4, total 6[/blockquote]
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 3, 3, total 6[/blockquote]
65 % damage to you, 10 % damage from you.
Perhaps they can mount a somewhat decent defensive when the main wave arrives. (doubtable)
Will you do the numbers, please?
Also, I rolled the crit already. Attacker means, I roll my damage roll and you are the defender in this case. Would I have wasted my roll on a 2 or 3, you, as defender would have rolled for a crit.
Salvage pool:
65% of 5 FP=3.75
(in case you're unclear, the Marines run like little bitches.)
I guess your Invasion follows suit. Thus, I cannot salvage? But, but..the raiders would make a salvage roll, right? Thats somehow inconsequential, right? Or can I salvage before you come in?
Would be nice.
Ok, I suppose here the Cats gained a precious victory and nothing else comes. at least I have not found anything.
Salvage roll:
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6+5 : 6, 4 + 5, total 15[/blockquote]
.5 FP salvage, Cat forces back to full percentage.
Question, do forces remain here to be fought?
Or do the Raiders withdraw to another hex?
Typically, raiding forces withdraw, from what I understand.
