Per the reply referenced below, I think I will ask for people willing to Proxy for the Dark.

Just think, this is your chance to be part of the Darkside, and still help the game move along.  ;D

The Dark are defending with 1.00 FP of troops, consisting of a mix of conventional infantry and older ground vehicles (Tech 1 models, including some older Draconis Combine designs like the Sabaku Kaze)

We abreviated this fight down, and with mechs proxying 1  FP of ASF, this fight was played at 2:1 odds instead of 3:1.

TC: 2 FP
Dark: 1 FP

With so many light Vee's with plinking weapons, one Dark vehicle after another shuttered to a halt due to loss of Mobiliy, then was picked apart by the superior air cover of the TC once they were sitting ducks.

Plink Plink

No salvage however. On the other hand, no Taurian forces destroyed.

-------

Think that is everything needed for this battle, but a note of confirmation would be great (or correction if things are wrong). However I was wondering if the status of a few things could be dealt with. I am fully happy to wait, as I know you both have a lot on the plate, but it would be great if I could be told:

1) What is the status of the poor people (most important).
2) What is the status of the infrastructure and stuff (RP generation ability or no?)
3) Confirmation of things all done okay.

Fate, +1 for using a Sabaku Kaze.

I will answer the background questions when I get home from work, as my break is almost over.

1) Shortly after the Dark took control of the planet, they sounded all air-raid sirens worldwide. Having been trained on what to do in the case of Davion agression (and full-well expecting more orbital attacks to occur imminently), most of the civilians quickly took shelter in the planet's hardened bunkers. After the population had locked themselves into the shelters, the Dark sprayed the outside with a highly lethal, highly persistant surface-coating liquid nerve agent. Consequently, anyone who tried to leave the shelters died horribly almost immediately.

The nerve agent was identified as an area-denial toxin used extensively by the Draconis Combine during the Second Succession War. Your forces were able to decontaminate the exterior of the shelters, but by the time you get inside the inhabitants were either dead from starvation or had turned to cannibalism.

Outside of the urban areas, the Dark randomly terrorized the population but did not inflict any other mass-casualty events. Distrubingly, however, it is estimated that as much as 10% of the population is unaccounted for. Survivors report they witness large numbers of civilians being put in cages and loaded onto DropShips.

2) Most of Gaul's infrastructure is intact. Due to the loss of its HPG, the planet will become interdicted next turn, but the colony is still more or less viable.

3) Looks good.
