Title: Turn 4 Special Rules - Clan Homeworlds
Post by: Dave Baughman on September 07, 2011, 07:25:40 AM
Something strange is happening in the Clan Homeworlds. The HPG network link with the deep periphery is still active, but everything coming out of it is scrambled garbage. The Grand Council's real-time link has been broken. The small fragments the Clans are able to decode suggest that there has been a massive outbreak of violence in the homeworlds, with many Clan forces doing battle. At the very start of the communications failure, there were unconfirmed reports suggesting some sort of WMD attack on Lum, but no details have been discerned. There is rampant speculation in the lower castes that the Terran Hegemony and their Not-Named Clan puppetmasters may have launched a sneak attack on the homeworlds, but no hard evidence has been produced.

The following rules are in effect for the Clan Homeworlds this turn:

Please make any bugout rolls in the sandbox forum, so this thread stays tidy. If you have any special ops forces that are rated higher than elite in the HW, they add their "above elite" special ops modifier to their roll.

CDS: Titanic (Potemkin-class) reaches the CDS Space Station from Circe. New Hope Station has an IC and should per what you wrote make a report.

Question... How far can those vessels which rolled 8+ move this turn?  I ask this, because I have LFB warships which can reach Vlad's Folly or even Ghent (departing from Niles) this turn.  7 and 10 hexes respectively.

Technically it was "at best speed" but its kind of late for having them show up in those locations now (since the posting deadline has passed). I would say move them up to 1 hex away from such a location this turn (Turn 3) and have them arrive in Turn 4.
