Actually I had a McKenna I never posted there as well. ;-)

actually we are both wrong subtract the 14 from the inbound but I still get the forces from the same hex that are already at popes will update my calfs soon

As the FWL ground forces began their landings, their sensors began lighting up with a huge number of emegence waves. What must have been nearly a hundred jump signatures lit up every sensor in the FWL fleet aswell as many of the ground stations. A short transmission was sent as soon as the incoming fleet materialzed.

"Free Worlds dogs, this is Field Marshal Arthur Steiner-Davion. Too long have you oppressed those within your borders who possess the courage to stand up to the Marik family. The people of Andurien deserve freedom from your oppression, and I will gladly deliver it to them, along with your heads on a silver plate. Leave this system immediately, or be gunned down to the last man. You have 6 hours to leave Andurien orbit, or we will open fire."

FS fleet enters the system as the Andurien defenders prepare their defenses. Andurien does NOT attack FWL forces, awaiting the FWL answer to Arthur's ultimatium

If this is the case please let me know if you think you can have a result by Friday/early Saturday morning. If not, we need to simple rez the fight so we have time to complete the turn without going into the cleanup period.

Summary of events towards the end of the turn


OOC: It is not public knowledge, but the in-game reason for the delay is that Hanse Davion's commander balked at the order to use orbital bombardment against a target likely to sustain civilian casualties, delaying the attack by almost 30 minutes before finally complying with orders from task force command. The out-of-game reason is that tactical orbital bombardment can't be used against guerillas since they can't be targeted by attacks.

At the end of the turn, the hex is contested due to guerilla warfare (though it would have been anyway I suppose due to Lopez still being in FWL hands)
