Scenario:
The Lyran's lopsided "trial" against the Adders is interrupted by the arrival of the Steel Vipers.
If played in MegaMek, one Steel Viper warship enters the battle area each round after round 5. The Lyran force cannot disengage until all Star Adder Warships are either destroyed or leave the map.
If played in Simple Resolution, op round 1 is LC vs. the CSA forces plus one Steel Viper warship. Each subsequent op round, another CSV warship joins the fray. If one Potemkin joins the fight, the other cannot join for three op rounds.
The LC force may disengage once both of the CSA ships are destroyed. However, CSV and CSA are considered to be operating under coordinated command and may divide any FP damage received in simple res (not counting direct damage received as a result of failed survival rolls).
Round 1:
139.50 FP of Lyran naval vs. 50.75 FP of SAC naval + 101.75 FP of Steel Viper naval (Serpentes)

Snake Leader alone amongst the interfering Steel Viper warships is lost.
Scenario Outcome: Steel Viper Victory
The loss of the Lyran fleet at the Dark Nebula was a serious blow to both the Lyran Navy and the Jade Falcons. Worse, all across the front the Lyrans' probes into Steel Viper territory were firmly repelled. While this was in no way a victory for the Adders, who quickly found themselves evicted from Camelot Command by the victorious Vipers, it was clear that a new threat to Lyran domination had appeared on the stage.
