Title: [RP/MM] Turn 40 MoC (SLDF) vs CSC ToP- Caldarium 0616 **Completed**
Post by: Parmenion on June 10, 2010, 01:44:28 PM
Zenith Jumppoint, Caldarium
Clan Spirit Cat Zone, Inner Sphere

Materialising out of space, several jumpships took station on the lead vessel, a massive Star Lord.  Conforming the Clan protocols, no offensive manouvre was initiated, although the standard CAP was deployed.  And within ten minutes of their arrival, a communique was sent to the planet below.

"Warriors of Clan Spirit Cat.  I am Major Yohana Cobo of the Magistracy Armed Forces.  Caldarium is a Lyran Commonwealth world and as such, I have been tasked with the mission to return it to their control.  I look forward to meeting with you on the field of battle to determine it's fate.  With what forces do you defend with against my batchall?"

"As the old Terran adage used to say 'possession is 9/10th of the Law', and it is one i will personally beat into you Major. We shall meet face to face you and I."

(OCC
One warrior unaugmented best of 7, challenging the major personally.

"Bargained well and done.  I shall journey to the planetary surface and meet you in unaugmented personal combat."

Shortly after the transmission above is sent, a single dropship detaches from one of the ships sitting in space, and heads for the planetary surface.

(ooc:  Holt does your persona have a rank and name?  Thanks)

In theory, Major Cobo wins 4-2 (roll 7 for both sides would not have been used).  Do you agree Holt?

Is bondsman John a mechwarrior?

Do the Spirit Cats classify their penpushers as warriors these days?   ;)

ic bit:

Yohana Cobo looked down on the Spirit Cat officer who lay sprawled out in the dust.  The first flurries in the fight had gone badly for her, and she had briefly wondered if the Clan warrior had missed his true calling.  Soon after though, she had landed a critical blow on her opposition, stunning him enough to land several follow up hits, the last knocking the Cat out cold.  Ordering a bucket of cold water be poured over him, she turned to face the other Spirit Cat lower caste who had watched the fight.
