I shall be continuing with my confounding and exasperating of the forces of the Not-Named and their Inner Sphere lackeys...as well as some much needed head-thwacking of the mind-numb Clans

and unless Dis and IM stage a coup and oust me as the "voice" of the Adders, I shall remain as part of that Faction

I've actually been out for the last long while, but I'm contemplating taking on some roll with Clan Ghost Bear and the Outworlds Alliance again.

Of course, I will need to be briefed on the current situations in both factions, as I'm sure I've quite lost track.

Absolutely, I totally dig it. Your point of contact for the RD should be Sarafan... Valjean is the contact for the Outworlds Alliance.

Welcome back :)

Say yes Dave.....if the Spirits are gonna continue along Helm's designated path, TK would be the one to see it done properly and with style

besides, and no offense, but in my opinion, a Player controlled faction is more interesting than a GM controlled one, and there arent that many players that can do the Spirits quite right (course they arent "right" anyways ;))

I have no objections to this. As you guys may have noticed, being GM-controlled in FGC is hazardous to a faction's health, and I'd rather not add the Blood Spirits to the "endangered species list."

Tassa, welcome back :)

Once I have closed up shop over on the CBT.com side, I will get you the current orders sheet for the Blood Spirits.

This Link (http://www.classicbattletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,54043.msg1295750.html#msg1295750) should take you to the Blood Spirit field manual as of last July. That's the newest information I have from them.

My lunch break is about to end, but I will try and dig up more info for you later. In the meanwhile, you may want to check the Blood Spirit IC thread on CBT.com - I believe it lays out the recent storyline developments for the faction in pretty good detail.

Jade Falcon is also uncontrolled, I believe, but for obvious reasons you couldn't run them as the WIE leader. Possibly more depending on who comes over from CBT and who doesn't (I think Spirit Cats are presently uncontrolled, but I'm not 100% sure at this instant)

Marlin, just to give you an update, the reason Blackjack has not been rolled out yet has been to give the SLDF side as much time as possible to post their actions before it goes to simple resolution.

As to the rest, the turn ends tomorrow, at which point anything left open will go to simple res.

The best way to contact me is by PM on these boards, if you are having trouble reaching me. I usually also check my CBT.com PMs daily. Sometimes I am on IM or Skype, so if you see me on there feel free to message me as well.

Thanks, GraeGor, for the update on the Clans and the Spirits in particular.

Dave, I've got a LOT of questions to toss at you, in light of what he's shared with me.  Most urgent are the ones dealing with the Spirits' trio of attacks in the DC.  Others have to do with the whole scientist-caste purge and the fate of the Mandrills and the Cobras.

dont thank me yet.....you may come to regret taking them on in this situation

though if they are screwed, at least with someone Playing them, theyll likely take a significant portion of the IS with them (and maybe even another Clan or two)

Update

To those who were waiting to see the simple res results tonight, unfortunately they are going to be delayed until tomorrow. I completely forgot that daylight savings time kicked my clock an hour forward today, so the time I set aside for wrapping up those threads has been substantially curtailed.

Please stand by for complete results tomorrow afternoon.

Well I don't have a Clan faction...and I've always wanted to throw off the civilize veneer of the Free Worlds League and embrace my inner Amaris/Victor S-D/Lyran

I'd be happy to help you commit attrocities against the Combine and hear the crys and lamentations of their women and other kin folk.

Did I miss a year? I had it in my head that Turn 37 was November-December 3069. I will check, because that is just the kind of silly mistake I would make while archiving everything lol.

AH, I see my error. 37 was January-February '69, not Nov-Dec.

Why not?

One of three options..
1. Vipers smash the Mandrills..All of them. The IS Mandrills are guilty by association. In all the other Absorptions, Abjurations, and Annihilations, it was not the entire Clan that was responsible for the actions that lead to the Trial, but usually just a segment. Didn't matter to the Clans. The whole Clan suffered. Since the IS Mandrills have not only known something was up and not did nothing about it (at least as far as the Vipers see it, and no other Clan has come forward with evidence to the contrary), and still has not made one gesture against their wayward brethren. Therefore the whole Clan is complicit.
2. The Vipers smash themselves against the Mandrills and get wiped out. (Fairly likely)
3. The Vipers and Mandrills smash themselves against each other opening themselves up for Absorption by another Clan. (Again fairly likely).

There is a couple of other options, But we will see which of the first three happens first.

1. has something of a point.. esp. the not talk to anyone. But again, that is because no player is available. I hate that fact.. I guess we will have to see what happens.. but I would point out that attacking another Clan that is entangled vs the Terrans does not make you more friends..

Other than being attacked, when have the IS Mandrills been engaged against the Terrans? Not for a while.

But the Vipers have no friends as it is. Granted, right now we are pushing any potentials away :P :P, but cest la vie.

Not having players for many Clans does hurt the Clans in particular, and the whole game in general.

I think the Adder players may think I am trying, or have tried to tell them how to run their faction, and it may have seemed that way. I would not do so. But I honestly cannot see why any Clan would truly want to defend the Mandrills. I can see players wanting to, but that starts into the prospect of Metagaming. I am not accusing anyone of such, so please don't get upset. I can see the "We need every Warrior" aspect, but we are still Clan, and we are supposed to be better than the IS. Allowing the Mandrills to continue on as they have I feel is unClan-like.

I am making this post to hopefully clear any air and to try to get back into the act of being active.
Title: Re: Fan Council '62 Rollcall

Hm.. I fear I cannot do much when the Vipers strike anyway. Except lift a digit. :P But as my oldest allies, I got to defend them verbally. The IS Mandrills at that. THey cut the ties to the HWs quite a time ago. So, the Hellions, besides the RP problems of not having someone to talk to, are still allied with them. They are crumpling under the might of Terrans and Dracs, though.. so even without the Vipers, they will soon be too weak.

So, I dont share your opinion, but I can see the Viper's stance in this. If you can absorb enough of them, at least this could be a way to get us back together.. but that remains to be seen of course.

Welcome back in the action. :)

I will say that as long as the Mandrills were doing anything, they were fighting the Terrans (or at least the IS).  The Mandrills were a big part of the drive against the Lyrans, and ran into the Terrans at Odessa.  They were at Somerset and 1st Sudeten, and Mandrill forces were some of the forces that didn't manage to break out before the Terrans came back.  Their inactivity of late is unfortunate, but I would argue not in keeping with their past stance on the matter.

wouldnt exactly say that, strained perhaps, but not lost

QuoteNot having players for many Clans does hurt the Clans in particular, and the whole game in general.

Im thinking we may need a recruitment drive to get some players to come over and at least give it a try here

thought never crossed my mind...that's the thing with the Clans, each one has its own idea and views as to what it means to be Clan

a few have used those differences to motivate others into action, some have tried the same unsuccessfully

if the Vipers want to lay the smack down on some monkey butt, the Adders wont stand in their way.....we considering options ourselves on what to do about the Mandrills, though with having to integrate the Cobras and deal with more than a few holdouts, we havent really come up with anything concrete yet

right now Id be content with a suicidal charge in any direction that leads them deeper into the IS, or any other action that would serve to allow them to go out with Honor and/or a Big Bang...something that would purge (in their minds) the actions of the HW Mandrills from staining their Honor

First off, let me thank everyone who has either picked up a new faction or is volunteering to assist with the GM-controlled factions. I have sent out a ton of orders sheets, but if I missed anyone please let me know and I will get you up to speed.

Dave,

Who is the leader of the Outworlds Alliance these days?  Or at least, preparing and turning in their sheets?

Thanks.

It is my intention to take the Mandrills back, at least in the IS.  My understanding is that they were basicly dormant, but if anyone had any conversations with them, or if they wanted to have them, address them to me.

is there something specific i would need to do to take that position? and is there a listing of personalities i would be required to know to be Jade Falcon, or is it within my power to RP new leadership coming to the fore? Im still trying to really get a grasp on what exactly has been happening with them, i read a few instances where CJF was apparently invading Mandrill territory, though i am not entirely certin why.

I'm going to need a summary of what's gone on and what kind of condition the LC is in, and maybe a little nugget from the other factions on what our diplomacy and agreements look like and are-shit gets buried in a typical FanCouncil turn, and coming back after an absence tends to be a bit confusion generating.

I got a new computer with the 'stock' windows 7 package (my wife got me to buy it after the last one suffered...ah hell with it, I lost my temper and let the blue smoke out of my last box-everything I had saved is permanently gone now...) I may (Haven't tried it yet) be able to get Megamek to run on this one.

I would like to announce my return to this game as a player, but not a faction head.  My interest in the game fell of dramatically as various events unfolded and went in a direction I found less interesting.  I could not, and cannot, in good conscience have continued as a faction head with such lackluster desire.

That being said, G.I.Journalist has managed to pull me back in.  For right now, I'll be RPing the Empress Elena Logan-O'Reilly and Trierarchos Charles Norrington.  I am glad to be back and look forward to reengaging with all of you.

arn't falling apart so much as getting hit by some very heavy stuff at the moment.

Tharkad just got git by a nuclear weapon matching the payload of a Peacemaker(strategic-level nuclear warhead). The Archon is missing and presumed dead, and the Estates General was apparently in session at the time of the detonation over the Triad.

Also, they've been having little to no luck against the Clans, losing more worlds every turn. They've also had a resurgence of their RWR problems, and they're the current prime suspects for those responsible for the nuclear attack, although the LIC's public stance is that the Clans got a special forces team to Tharkad.

I would like to have cats with a sole player. (not a burdened one who already has 3 other factions to run)

So.. And their RP should just have become more interesting too. :)

As long as Holt (the Diamond Shark faction leader) has no objections, you are approved to join the Diamond Sharks.

You may want to send Holt a private message to touch base on what the current faction plans/objectives are. You'll also want to review the FGC rules thread, since the operational and strategic level rules will be important to understand for playing in the FGC campaign.

I finally woke up again after Hugin and his friends tried to drown me in alcohol!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

I think I will have to change my application slightly after hearing what's going on. I would prefer to overtake and lead the DIAMOND SHARKS! (again)

although, if they are not open for grabs, I will go with the Scorpions as well.
Or maybe the Coyotes?

While it's always nice to get new players, especially old ones returning, I just want to let you know that you might be jumping into a war or two with the DS and GS.

The Diamond Sharks have run from the TH after swearing to defeat the not-named, invaded the Adders in the HWs on Homer, are in violation of a ilKhan order to return Homer, and theirs some stuff going on behind the scenes right now.  They've been going after the Wolves (who are now joined with the Wie and allied with the TH v. the GC) as well, but that seems popular right now. ;)

The Goliath Scorpions seemed to have been heavily involved in the scientist conspiracy plot line, and have done seem to have mostly been kicked out of / removed from the HWs.  In the process they've nuked some Blood Spirits at Roche causing them some fits.  they've been pretty inactive in the IS so we don't know how much impact the scientist conspiracy has had there.  I know that Holt's been running them with GM oversight / approval for their actions.

Regardless of where you end up, good luck and welcome back.

Holt is running the Sharks as his actual player faction

Title: Re: Fan Council '62 Signup & Registration Thread

I believe the Camels (ex-Mandrills... kind of a long story) are looking for a player, though Iron Mongoose may correct me there. All of the other Clans, as far as I know, have at least one full-time player.

Exceptions would be the Goliath Scoprions who are not available as a player faction at this time due to ongoing plot activity with them. Same for the Smoke Jaguars (well, their survivors at least).

On the Inner Sphere side I believe every faction has a player except for the Niops Association (who also 'own' the First Lord of the Star League at the moment).

If you are a fan of roleplaying much, nearly all Clans could use you. :)

The GM team is considering a pilot program to bring player-controlled mercenaries back into the game, but I would recommend also joining a conventional faction to develop familiarity with the rules and the universe.

As to the mercenary pilot program, more information will follow soon.

OKay, so, now Tassa Quits, because what, Marlin got stuck having to sub for the Spirit Cats?  (I don't know, maybe he wanted the job??)

Look, Hugin's resignation was a big damn surprise to everyone-including the Staff, if I hear correctly-there was no warning, no indicators, just...boom, gone.
I suspect they tapped the first person they could get ahold of for this (Correct me if I'm wrong), it's a temporary assignment, there's no reason for anyone to get their panties in a bundle over it-nobody's getting special bennies off this (though anyone who can step in at a moment's notice to take over a faction that was that active with that much still in the air probably SHOULD-esp. without prep.)

I talked to Hugin right before he went off. When it happened, I just wanted to cover them. If there is anyone that has experience and wants them, I of course would step down.

I just led the Falcons for a while until Daemonknight stepped in and that was a wonderful cut.

What prompts TK to do that, well I guess he and Hugin have some common traits, I would guess. I have no clue, we had no contact for quite some time at all.

So, who wants the Cats then?

Title: Re: Fan Council '62 Signup & Registration Thread
Post by: Marlin on October 01, 2010, 08:58:04 PM
Another thing that speaks against TK, and the GMs might want to cut that away here:

He was also involved in the Flashpoint game, to my knowledge where I stepped away several months ago. But he quit his complete account nonetheless.

That is all from my side.

Feel free to delete this, I may perhaps myself later. >:(
Title: Re: Fan Council '62 Signup & Registration Thread
Post by: Dave Baughman on October 01, 2010, 09:13:33 PM
Before anyone else resigns and deletes their accounts, would you mind letting me know why you are quitting?

If there's something so wrong with the game that you feel you cannot in good conscience still participate and, in fact, you feel you must so thoroughly disassociate yourself from this site that you must delete your account, I can't do anything to improve the situation if you don't tell me on the way out the door what the problem was.

Just throwing that out there.

Welcome back, Foxx. I have no problem with you working with the Bears as long as JediBear is cool with it. Of course, please don't feel forced to play RD if you want to try something else - there are a couple of other openings at the moment too I believe.

Thanks! =) We should jibber about the new SRW anime sometime =)
Jedibear just sent me a pm accepting me, so what now =) do i have to wait to post?

Sounds like you are good to go. Welcome back!

GraeGor recruited me to come and play over here. Is it possible to be in an Inner Sphere Faction and a Clan faction? The factions I am most interested in playing are the Federated Suns and the Diamond Sharks at this point. Who currently is running and playing those factions? That isn't official resquests yet, though, too join those factions. I'll probably point a list of three factions as stated to be the way to do it. Is it possible to get some kind of summary of the current situation of events, too? GraeGor gave me a sitrep and I've browsed around a bit, too, but I'd like to get as good of general overview as possible. Thanks

Starkiller

p.s. How much MegaMek is played around here? Grae said this used to be a good place for MM action but schedule conflicts have limited that action now somewhat. I work the night shift at my job; I work three twelves and then have four days off. For example, I go to work tonite, Monday night, and Tuesday night and the get done on Wednesday morning until Sunday night again. This gives me good time to play MM for four days depending on if I have real life stuff going on. Also, I may not be able to be too active until the new year with the holidays coming up...

Hi Starkiller :)

As of next turn the Federated Suns will be an open faction with no players in it. The Diamond Sharks are run by Holt.

To summarize recent events in the storyline:

Its early 3070, and the war between the Clans and the Terran Hegemony is still ongoing. The Rasalhague Dominion recently abandoned its neutrality and entered the war on the Clan side, and the Lyran Commonwealth has fractured and disintegrated into a number of successor states. Allied forces defending Coventry are just barely holding out, but are being hammered by a massive Clan invasion force. Things are looking rather grim on the Lyran front, though the Draconis Combine has so far managed to repel all attempts by the Clans to open a second front in their territory.

On the other side of the Sphere, the Federated Suns and Taurian Concordat are currently fighting to protect their own holdings from Dark attacks, which culminated this turn in a bold move to invade Taurus. Currently Dark ground forces have seized control of the Taurian capital, but TC warships in orbit are preventing them from consolidating those gains.

You may also find the current map (http://www.intelser.org/Hauptmann/FGCMaps/FGC%20TUrn%2043_m2.pdf) a usefull tool by which to gauge the in-game situation.

As for MegaMek, it doesn't get played as much as it used to in the old days, but as Grae correctly reported to you that's mostly a scheduling issue. I think you'll find that if people can find the time for a game, they'll still be happy to battle it out "old school."

What Clans don't have players or are most in need of players? I wasn't eagerly looking forward to running a faction right away, but it might be an action that needs to be taken right off the bat...

I am also assuming that means I can be in a clan and IS faction?

Currently, I believe that the only Clan that has no players at all are the Camels and the Spirit Cats (the latter of which Marlin is currently generously acting as caretaker for).  As for those who are looking to bring on more people, I imagine most of them could benefit from more players, but I will defer to their faction leaders for the final answer.

Ah, my apologies for not being more clear, you definitely can play both sides of the Clan/IS divide. The only real restriction we levy on players is that we ask they not play "next door neighbors" to avoid any potential conflict of interest.

I would like to apply for an IS faction:

1. Federated Suns
2. Federation of Skye
3. Free Worlds League

At this time, I am going to remain a Clan free agent. I'd prefer to get acclimated with this game with a single faction before joining another. This will give me a chance to see what clan presents me the best opportunity to play.

I'd be happy to approve you for the Federated Suns, but since its a large faction it will involve a bit more paperwork than usual. How comfortable are you with the current edition of the FGC rules? Shoot me a PM and we will go over the details.

Ok, Daemonknight/Marlin posted a recruitment thread to come here.  I like the idea and the rules, but what factions are open right now?  The list at the front of this thread is outdated. (either the '62 or the '90 game)

All factions are quite open, no one is really closed. Some have more players than others, though.

What would you be interested in?

Clans, IS?

You should pull yourself a map and take a look, there are some changes from the "normal" universe. You might not be happy as a Lyran, for example.. ;)

Preferably IS, but wherever it's needed is fine with me.  I don't mind being the only 1 or 2 of a faction, I'm comfortable with spreadsheets and formula.  Because of my schedule, I'm not really able to do MM, so unfortunately that's out.  Basically, the only action I get will be fiddling around with spreadsheets and combat threads...

PS.  Another reason why I kind of avoid MM is because I'm a contributor.  (And yes, I've looked at the RNG.)  I don't want any static about how I put in "if (player.name == "swang" && unit.isAttacking)) then roll = 12;"  I didn't, I swear.

Welcome aboard, Swang! As Marlin mentioned earlier, most of the factions in the game are open to players - just let us know what you're interested in and we'll do our best to accomodate. Also, please don't feel under any special pressure to MegaMek - a lot of the focus these days is on the roleplaying and strategy gaming end, after all.

Is the Terran Hegemony Player ran?  If so, that would be of interest.  Otherwise, FWL, Skye or MoC, whichever that needs the most help.

The Terran scum worlds are GM Faction.. and many Clans are working hard to take it down.. :P

Skye.. hmm.. its under heavy pressure and Robert Kelswa-Steiner is currently guest of Clan Jade Falcon..

FWL and Moc Would certainly be grateful for another player. At least I think so.

Like Marlin said, TH is the GM faction

Skye has essentially ceased to exist as a player faction: whats left of it is being absorbed by Arc Royal, and Archon Bobby KS is currently one of my(CJF) characters, because we rescued him from certin execution by the AR Martyrs. MoC i thought had a player, not sure. FWL is run by Chaos, and I'm sure he'd enjoy having someone else to run amok with, especially now that he's got a Clan to run aswell.

Ok, I didn't realize that Chaos is getting a reward.  If he's getting the civil war, I can volunteer to play the rebels?  And after I get taken apart, I can go do something else?

Hello everyone,

Someone (I won't mention any names, but you know who you are :P) has decided to recruit me back into the game. As I understand it, every faction could use players and some are playerless at the moment. While I do have my own favourite Factions, before I write down any, maybe someone could tell me which ones are the most in need of a player. (That is, if you'll want me :P)

Since my intrest is up enough, I might jump back in too.  How can I push so long for then, and then not see it out?  But largely in the role I was in before I took on too many other roles, as the second player or third player in a faction that can pretty much handle its self.  I just want to do a bit of RP, perhaps as the children of my cherictors, or grand children in the Clans.  Corrine's daughter should be in her 30s in 20 years if memory serves, so she could be up to something, and Kimmy Cha may have settled down with someone (though she'd only be in her late 50s, so unless there was a political ouster there'd be no age related reason to retire).  And Amy and Kenshin's sibko should be 21 or 22, so there's a pool of house Lynn warriors with some really excelent mechwarrior potental in them.

But, as I said when I left last time, I wanted to spend time on the other game, and on other things, so I won't be able to run a faction or do much more than just pitch some ideas and write some stories.

By my accounts, here is the current layout. There are several second and third controlled factions that players have as well. The factions of the New Dominion are one faction, so I'm not running three factions :P I'm not up on my current situation with the Lyran Cluster of Claimants so bear with me if some of my findings are off. I went with what the Map name for them was.

Clans of Kerensky

Clan Blood Spirit  - Active - Tassa Kay
Clan Diamond Shark - Active - GM Controlled - No Player
Clan Ghost Bear  - Active - Part of the New Dominion - Fatebringer
Clan Hell's Horse - Active - Part of the Horse Alliance - Parmenion (But everyone calls it the Hell's Alliance ;) )
Clan Ice Hellion - Active - Marlin
Clan Jade Falcon  - Active - Daemonknight
Clan Nova Cat  / Clan Spirit Cat - Active - Marlin
Clan Snow Raven  - Active - Part of the New Dominion - Fatebringer
Clan Star Adder  - Active - Disgruntled / Graegor (Putting them down here while they reconsider), Iron Mongoose
Clan Steel Viper  - Active - Chaosxtreme

Clan Coyote - Abjured - Last Location Unknown - GM Controlled
Clan Goliath Scorpion  - Active / Abjured - GM Controlled - The faction is out there somewhere, and has not answered the questions before it by the Grand Council.
Clan Smoke Jaguar - Annihilated / The Dark - Those that were not destroyed have been seen in the SW quadrant as The Dark. - GM Controlled
Clan Wolf-in-Exile - Joined with the Star League after the Absorption of the rest of the Wolves to for, Clan Wolf of the Star League. - NVA
Clan [Not Named]  - Annihilated / The Blood (TH) - GM Controlled

Clan Burrock  - Absorbed by Clan Star Adder
Clan Cloud Cobra  - Absorbed / Abjured - Several Clusters were absorbed into the Wolves-in-Exile and are now Star League and those that were not abjured for their part in the Scientist Conspiracy were absorbed into Clan Star Adder
Clan Fire Mandril - Abjured / Clan Camel - Absorbed - Those that participated in the Scientist Conspiracy were Abjured and hunted down, those that were loyal became Clan Camel which didn't last long. Eventually the different Kindraa's were absorbed by different Clans in a series of Trials until they were all gone.
Clan Mongoose - Absorbed by Clan moke Jaguar.
Clan Widowmaker - Absorbed by Clan Wolf
Clan Wolf - Abjured - The remaining Wolves were absorbed into the Wolves-in-Exile who are Abjured.

Terran Hegemony - GM Controlled

Great Houses

Capellan Empire - Cannonshop
Draconis Combine - GM Controlled - No Player
Federated Suns - Daemonknight
Free Worlds League - Chaosxtreme
Lyan Alliance - splintered into several factions
- Chalemaign Steiner's Supporters - Adder and Friends
- Federation of Skye - Buddied up with FWL
- Lyran Arc Royal Estates General -  August
- Lyrans Recognizing no Archon Claimants
- Union of Independant Worlds - Cannonshop

The Coalition of Periphery States - CoPS - I'm not sure which factions run what, but there were several Players.
- Taurian Concorat - Jeyar

Horse Alliance - Is a combination of the Outworld Alliance and Clan Hell's Horse - Parmenion
Magistracy of Canopus - Parmenion
Rim Worlds Republic - DXM?
The New Dominion - Is a combination of the old Free Rasalhague Republic, Clan Ghost Bear and Clan Snow Raven. - Fatebringer

There are also seperate positions for...

Clan

ilKhan Diana Pryde - Daemonknight
Grand Loremaster Laurie Tseng - Fatebringer
SSA - Senior Star Admiral of the Clans Bryn Cooper - Fatebringer
ICW - Interclan Watch - Deamonknight

Inner Sphere

SLDF - Commanding General -  NVA
Wolf's Dragoons
- Alpha - Daemonknight
- Beta - Chaosxtreme

Thanks for that, Fate, however the Vipers are led by Chaosxtreme now.

And Iron Mongoose, you have 2 choices, the FWL is clear for you. But now: CIH or Star Adders. :)

We'll see how things shake out.  If for example the Adders and FWL remain blood enemies, with fighting along a common bourder, then it would be hard to play both Kimmy Cha and Amy Lynn (who if she lived would be in her early 50s.  she was never a great warrior though, so chances are she would have either died fighting, having to keep her high command, or else retired to be a blood house leader or something like that behind the sceens).  Plus, we'll see who's still alive, and what each faction is up to, and who needs the most help and who the least.

And once the other game takes off, how much will be asked of me for that.

Now that really tempts me to jump in right now (CS can attest to my preference for Dracs).

HOWEVER, I honestly don't feel I'm up to that ATM.  Rather, I figure on backing up an existing Faction Head once my personal schedule stabilizes a bit, most likely some time around Turn 47 or 48.
