Feel free to post any questions about the transition plan here. I will answer them as quickly as possible.
Are the various Faction IC Threads going to migrate over, or will new ones be made?

My goal is to get all of the FC material onto Intelser so that the transition doesn't result in the game's history being lost. I can't give a completely concrete answer yet on exactly how that will play out, because I need to verify that there are no copyright issues with transferring our fan fiction and game results from CBT.com. Hopefully I will have a much more detailed answer for you very soon.

Over there is some really olde stuff. There was no copyright problem back then, I dont see why there should be one now.
And I would like to get this stuff over here as well.

If Ash will grant me permission to transfer that content from his board, I intend to include it on intelser. I just discovered that particular little treasure trove myself a couple days ago, and haven't got a chance to secure permission yet.
OK - got an update. I've secured permission from Ash to import the classic FC '62 material that is archived on BTechUnits. I'm going to start carrying over material tonight, once I have enough for it to be meaningful I'll post more about the archival setup.
Will the one faction limitation on WiE players be lifted?

This is not 100% final yet, but WIE is almost certainly going to be redefined as an IS faction for turn 38.
RD will probably continue to count as both an IS and a Clan faction for the time being, but this will be periodically re-examind to ensure that players in that faction are not prevented from participating on the same level as other members.
Marlin asked for me to repost the (incomplete) (draft) WMD rules that were on CBT.com several months ago.
Please find them attached.
These are not the final version that will become game rules... just a draft that was used for several storyline-related nukings.
I have a plotline I'd like to initiate. Something to do with the Clans and the Blood. It occurs to me that I should probably talk to a GM about it. Who should I be speaking with?
Shall we transfer the IC threads by our own?
At least those Clans/factions that have players? Cuz if they are archived, I dont see them.

I'm still seeking permission from CGL to republish the contents of those threads. As soon as I get the green light they will be uploaded to the FC62 wiki.
All of the IC threads have been saved to my PC however, so a permanent copy does exist even if I can't repost them yet.
So, what's the word on what's changing on how the metafactions are handled?

Basically, instead of having a "caretaker" player, the constituent members of the metafaction will be responsible for getting the metafaction orders in each month.
That's not to say that they can't agree to keep going 'business as usual' with the same player as before beign responsible for the orders, but that will no longer count as a separate "faction membership" choice for that player.
I'll try to get something a little more detailed posted after work today.

Shoot me a PM with your proposal and we can discuss it. After reading your recent IC thread post, this should be interesting... ;D
Not at all to cause waves, just wondering if we could get a posting of the latest rules all in one place for the 3062 game. ;D

I'm working on it... I won't make any promises but I will try to get something up this weekend.
What I think is still TBD for Cycle 38: Beta VII invasion by SLDF, Ridderkerk and perhaps New Caledonia too, but not sure if it stays a stalemate.
the other two will have quite an impact on at least 3 Clans (Sharks, Horses and Adders)
Anyway, will be not THAT much online next week, and not on IM or Skype at all.
Will look and try to do orders and such, though.
EDIT: And what happened with Alyina? Does anyone know?
LAST EDIT: Is there any Map Guy? :(

What I think is still TBD for Cycle 38: Beta VII invasion by SLDF never occured. The former SLDF player appears to have deleted the thread, and I don't have a backup, so there's no really not much option but to assume it never happened in the first place, Ridderkerk this one is complete, I just didn't get a chance to ammend my note and perhaps New CaledoniaThis one should be complete unless I have missed something too, but not sure if it stays a stalemate.

EDIT: And what happened with Alyina? Does anyone know? Alyina was a hostile territory movement thread, and there was never any indication of opposition, so it looks like anyone passing through successfully completed their moves.
LAST EDIT: Is there any Map Guy? :( While I know he has been very busy lately, I believe Hugin is still assisting us with maps. It this changes I will follow up.
See above in red.
Thanks dude, that clears some things up. :)

Any more word on this? I ask, 'cause, if I'm doing the SLDF's order sheet, too (which, y'now, is fine if I am), I want to get started early enough on it to make sure everything's OK.
Any Nuus on Ridderkerk? :)

Thanks for reminding me. Here's the deal with Metafactions:
QuoteMetafactions are constructs used to track assets that are owned by more than one faction - i.e. the Star League and the COPS. Metafactions do not have players directly assigned to them, instead all players of the Metafaction's member factions also "belong to" the Metafaction.
A Metafaction's members decide how the metafaction orders are issued and who issues them; this is an exception to the general rule that only faction leaders can submit orders. It is the responsibility of a metafaction's members to submit orders on time; if they are late - even if it is due to disagreements over how the orders are to be submitted - the normal drawbacks apply.
So basically, for this turn go ahead and draw up the SLDF orders. If you want to delegate this to a different Star League member going forward, there is nothing preventing this.

As I mentioned in the other thread, Ridderkerk is done for this turn. You can ignore the part at the end, I will get around to editing it eventually but I have so much stuff on my plate that it might not get done immediately.
