A number of JumpShips displaying hastily-painted shark insignia appeared at the nadir jump point.  DropShips detached and begin moving in-system.

"This is Colonel Alexis Cole of the Rim Republican Army.  Clan forces are known to be operating in this area of space and we are to secure this world against them.  Do not resist or you will labeled an enemy of the state and we will fire on you."

The RRA troops land and begin working with the local authorities to establish Republican control over the system.  With cooperation assured, they are being very genteel about it -- winning of hearts and minds and all that.
