Last post by Altrak - June 30, 2015, 05:53:13 PMThis time, the transmission was something completly new... on all call centers giant screens turned on, they were there montaged over the last weeks and with the first of July 3042, packages to all Black box Leasing contractors were delivered. The screens turned on and a countdown began running down... in the Combine it differed from only a few seconds to up to 3.5 days... many wondered what this ment and a event was announced once the number reached 0.
Masses gathered on the coming final day and in some cases travellers from outer space reached a planet, asked if the transmission has already started and informed that either, everybody should see this or that they wanted to see it again.

During the whole presentation JADE 01 had not spoken a word, it was Tuure's show. She was merely here for represantative reasons. Besides the huge video wall behind them were the flags of both companies flying.
The cameras wher off, dozens of television and news channels went online, the live concert was running on the main channel of the IMS.

2.5 days after the announcement of the Regent reached New Samarkand and Luthien.
On New Samarkand the Coordinator was immediatly informed as were the heads of the ISF. Another punch into the face of ComStar. Of course the Voice of the dragon would use this opportunity for Propaganda, informing the civillians that the Federated Commonwealth has followed the enlightend words of Theodore towards a brighter future for the whole of mankind.
Still on New Avalon, Florentius aka uncle Matt grinned like a devil, after all he was in charge for the most missions against ComStar and with the Federated Commonwealth cutting the deal, the time began to tick... soon... the art of vendetta was one that needed time.
On Luthien, on the other side JADE01 and JADE10 were hearing the news and number ten, the old man, began to slowly applaud the Regent. "It seems that we will now have to spend some money on forces, because the safety of the inner sphere now truly stands and falls with our service. "

Picture begins of a rather large briefing room, and quickly sees the arrival of a face familiar to all Lyrans and much of the rest of known space.
"People of the Federated Commonwealth. Citizens of the Inner Sphere and Periphery. Descendants of General Kerensky's Star League Defence Force. I will make this brief."
"Regent Townshed-Davion and I have jointly arrived at the decision to summarily terminate the reliance of the Federated Commonwealth on the HPG network as run by Comstar. This message will simultaneously be released within the Federated Suns region and will be the last messages transmitted. Alternate means of interstellar communications are now available, and the means to do so have been forwarded to all planetary governments. Business will remain open. Companies and private individuals will still be able to communicate."
"This is not a decision made lightly, but considering the hostile nature of the leadership of Comstar, coupled with their indiscriminate abuse of the Ares Convention seen on both Northwind and Outreach, and with their abduction, torture and murder of a number of diplomatic personnel on Outreach and Terra, we will no longer give financial sustenance to their evil. Comstar will no longer be able to utilise the income generated by our use of the HPG network for their terrorist ways."

Gunji-no-Kanrei Asano was scratching his head, at one time the Royal Marian Repuplic wanted safety and hold back their troops, then they were eagerly offering frontline support. They declined his plan and wanted... no demanded immediate action on the other side, while a valiable strategy still was missing.
Luckily the other Periphery nations were not sitting in the Security Council yet, what allowed the ARAR, DC and CC to overthrow their objections. On the other side this would lead to a missing funding for the mission itself. Furthermore he couldn't get more funds from the Coordinator. The quartal budget for this was already larger than the income of most nations in the inner sphere and further increase would not be allowed.
When he then got the response from their ISDF-representative he shook his head but also immediatly readied an answer...
1.1) The ISDF is working on a support network. It is planned to construct and move a █████████ ████████ in the space between the █████ ████████, ███ █████ █ and ████ ████████ █████ space. The ██████████ will see construction within half a year and will arrive at the target location within the next half year. However, ███ will be in support range for these frontlines far earlier since the DCA has moved a considerable amount of ████████ into FWL and CC space and is operating via ██████████████.
1.2) Currently the security council has concentrated all payments for the lowering of the interdiction of the FWL, as their functioning realm is a military essential to hold the line between Capellan and Marian space. After this, the ISDF banked credits may be used to either help out with the founding of the "█████████████ strategy" or be given to outfit troops in the border regions (including the █████ for the ███).
2.) There will be multiple █████████████, as we have to deal with multiple clans. We advice that the ███ and the ███ arrange between each other where to strike and reinforce best for now. It is further adviced that a nation under attack withdraws and builds up a line of defense before a counterstrike may be done. The moment the DCMS is able to support ████ ███████, we will add troopstrength to your strategy.
