The two JumpShips that materialized in the fringes of the Achernar system were not outwardly unusual; merchant traffic from the TH was a routing sight after all. However, when ground control received a THSF military IFF signal, their attention was gained quite quickly. After a few moments longer, a transmission was received, and now their attention was dominated entirely.

The man on their screens appeared to be in his early 30's, and was dressed in ash-colored THAF fatigues; his face showed the signs of the TH's advanced cybernetics, and in fact most of one side of his head seemed to be clad in gleaming steel. Of interest as well was the shoulder insignia on his uniform - the Word of Blake broadsword held aloft by a winged, cuirssased angel, with rays of light shining from it in a close approximation of the House Davion crest.

"Achernar system control, this is Precentor Arthur Steiner-Davion of the Terran Hegemony. Seven years ago I left Robinson and now my duty calls for me to return. I formally request permission for this task force to travel through Federated Suns space to the Robinson star system."
