What I think is still TBD for Cycle 38: Beta VII invasion by SLDF, Ridderkerk and perhaps New Caledonia too, but not sure if it stays a stalemate.

the other two will have quite an impact on at least 3 Clans (Sharks, Horses and Adders)

Anyway, will be not THAT much online next week, and not on IM or Skype at all.

Will look and try to do orders and such, though.

EDIT: And what happened with Alyina? Does anyone know?

The former SLDF player appears to have deleted the thread, and I don't have a backup, so there's no really not much option but to assume it never happened in the first place, Ridderkerk this one is complete, I just didn't get a chance to ammend my note and perhaps New CaledoniaThis one should be complete unless I have missed something too, but not sure if it stays a stalemate.

EDIT: And what happened with Alyina? Does anyone know? Alyina was a hostile territory movement thread, and there was never any indication of opposition, so it looks like anyone passing through successfully completed their moves.

LAST EDIT: Is there any Map Guy? While I know he has been very busy lately, I believe Hugin is still assisting us with maps. It this changes I will follow up.

So, what's the word on what's changing on how the metafactions are handled?

Basically, instead of having a "caretaker" player, the constituent members of the metafaction will be responsible for getting the metafaction orders in each month.

That's not to say that they can't agree to keep going 'business as usual' with the same player as before beign responsible for the orders, but that will no longer count as a separate "faction membership" choice for that player.

I'll try to get something a little more detailed posted after work today.

Any more word on this?  I ask, 'cause, if I'm doing the SLDF's order sheet, too (which, y'now, is fine if I am), I want to get started early enough on it to make sure everything's OK.

Thanks for reminding me. Here's the deal with Metafactions:

Metafactions are constructs used to track assets that are owned by more than one faction - i.e. the Star League and the COPS. Metafactions do not have players directly assigned to them, instead all players of the Metafaction's member factions also "belong to" the Metafaction.

A Metafaction's members decide how the metafaction orders are issued and who issues them; this is an exception to the general rule that only faction leaders can submit orders. It is the responsibility of a metafaction's members to submit orders on time; if they are late - even if it is due to disagreements over how the orders are to be submitted - the normal drawbacks apply.

So basically, for this turn go ahead and draw up the SLDF orders. If you want to delegate this to a different Star League member going forward, there is nothing preventing this.

As I mentioned in the other thread, Ridderkerk is done for this turn. You can ignore the part at the end, I will get around to editing it eventually but I have so much stuff on my plate that it might not get done immediately.
