The 4th sent its Armored regiments aswell as it's air cover to Vorzel to pacify the world, though few of the Adders on planet seemed willing to put up much resistance after watching their fleet burn to the keels above them.

4th Donegal Armored Regiments and Aerospace Battalion attempt to take control, 1 FP of CSA militia defends
"My only regret is that I will not be alive in .03 seconds. I would have liked to watch the enemy attempt to vent an omnidirectional thermonuclear blast enveloping their outpost."

With the once-impressive Vorzel garrison pulled back to defend more-critical locations, the Vorzel Citizen's Guard takes up the grim duty of fighting (and likely dying) for their planet's freedom from the Lyran jackboot.

Lyrans kill the SAC commander and wipe out the defenders

At first, things seemed to be going well for the SAC militia, whose commander lead them on a string of hit-and-fade assaults on Lyran supply depots and other soft targets. By the second week of the campaign, however, the Lyrans were closing in and the militia was running out of places to hide. Twelve days after the initial Lyran landings, an aerospace attack killed the Citizens Guards commander; without his inspired leadership, resistance quickly broke down and the Guards were wiped out in penny-packet engagements by the larger Lyran force.
