Map Help - relative positions + general questions.

As some may have noticed, this game the TC has colonized quite a few worlds. Not at the speed of the TC attained a few years before the game started, but pretty high. Colonizing a pre-colonized world however is easier, and the TC has loads of them now that I've got the Handbook: Major Periphery States. However one problem with using that source is figuring out just which hex a given world should be in.

So, instead of bothering the poor Map person with questions, I'd ask for general input.

For example: while looking on page 121 of the H:MPS, I'd think that Mavegh would be in hex 3837, and Sartu and Hanseta would be in 3738. Dumassas would take up hex 4337 and Hawktor 4437. Centavido would be in the same hex as Amber Grove (hex 3638), but would also make the planets all 1 jump apart and not just 1 hex apart. Same thing with Flatspin being in the same hex as Sterope (and for the same reason - 3639).

So that all would be one series of questions for debate. Another example for a sort of "does this make sense to others: I'm sort of assuming that Lowell and Tambourin are Lorkdal and Badlands (hex 4336 - Badlands Cluster), as otherwise there are even more nice worlds in the hex - which would be funny, as in universe IIRC the TC checked out like 18 others that were empty and 6 others that had pirate bases but were effectively uninhabitable, and there are only 50 systems in the cluster.

That would be another asking if the logic makes sense, or if it does realistically allow for other possibilities.

Anyway, there are plenty of "lost worlds" in the game and I thought a thread where we could debate location would be a good resource. In fact, since I've colonized so many hexes in the TC that shared a hex with a once colonized worlds, PLUS the TC was remarkably "flat" in their colonization efforts (and for some reason the TC now no longer seemed to have colonized "west" of Taurus – in spite of before that being mentioned in various forms in 3 different earlier products), this thread will likely help all factions more than mine other than the 1 system factions and the young factions: MH and the Clans...

So, input on locations sounding good or no?

I'd suggest that when asking Hex specific worlds, put information down like a source (book and page), and when asking for general opinion, you put down the background (for and against) that you have.
