[RP] Turn 43 - Pirates vs HA - Alpheratz (4619) - Resourse raid

Below them on the world of Alpheratz and behind them at the Zenith Jump point, all was silent. No alarms had been raised as the Alliance patrols held their course. This the jewel of their realm, it almost seemed a shame to Captain Solomon Drake that he had to make waves in these serene waters, but this was the what his new life was all about. His contacts reported exactly which platforms on the space stations held the goods. If he didn't make good on this raid, there would be short supplies for the next few months. Alpheratz had the best equipped naval yards this side of Galax and even this crew had it's limits on how deep a raiding ship could get.

"This is the Captain to all hands, the ship is in position to cover the exit path so, ... lets go be bad guys."

When they were within 300 yards of the platform when the alarms went off.  The shuttles were led by one with a prancing white stag emblazened on the side. They lit their thrusters and decelerated for docking. The generic PAL suits the raiders used were carefully selected to avoid identification. They Loaded the cargo onto anti-grav selds and moved with a purpuse.

The OA response time was suprisingly good. Solomon could only imagine how things would have went down if they hadn't been able to penetrate the sector so silently. It was time to enact stage two. "Hart Breakers, engage" The star of heavy fighters had floated down behind the shuttles and had remained powered down until now. Kicking on their power, they accellerated towards the docks. The immedate response was that the OA pilots changed coarse to meet them. They must have identified the origin of the fighters though because they veered quickly away. "So the game is a foot. No need ro run silent anymore gentleman, we've been spotted. Light the drives, lets pick up some speed, keep a vector of 068. Keep on the egress route with port guns barely in range. If anyone tries to get close, give them the business. I want us ready to jump soon as our cargo is aboard.
