The EM wave that erupts from sub-space is only milliseconds ahead of its cause, a WarShip, one of Federated Suns design, and of former Lyran Commonwealth service that now plies Space under a new Master, Clan Star Adder and its Commonwealth States.

What is somewhat unusual is that it is unescorted, it is alone against any potential threats, but its mission is not one of conflict, unless necessary, it comes for an entirely different purpose, one that has yet to be revealed.
