The Falcons were done playing around with the Hellions, and their first order of business was to reclaim the worlds that the Hellions had taken with their underhanded tactics.

CJF forces do not issue a batchall, immediately forming up for an assault drop.
"My only regret is that I will not be alive in .03 seconds. I would have liked to watch the enemy attempt to vent an omnidirectional thermonuclear blast enveloping their outpost."

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Star Commander Delia blasted apart a Falcon Scytha with her Ostrogoth's laser battery, slicing past the burning debris as her squadron closed in tighter and tighter on the enemy transports. The last few days had been a deadly game of cat-and-mouse as Falcon transports probed the system's defenses looking for a clear route to land their no-doubt overwhelming ground forces.

Unfortunately for them, thought Delia, we are not the Star Adder and we know how to actually put up a fight when the odds are against us. Grimly, but with no hesitation, she unleashed a salvo of missiles into a damaged transport that had become separated from the main herd. Light blossomed in space, barely visible at the "short" range of over a hundred kilometers, as the beaten-up fighter carrier ruptured along its long axis and broke apart.

Now, she thought, we can get some revenge for Pasig.

"Alpha, Bravo, Charlie aerostars, form on me. We are going to destroy their JumpShips," she spoke firmly into her helmet mike.

Even as the acknowledgements came in, however, she frowned. The Falcons were fleeing, engaging their hyperdrives and leaving the star system. They would all be gone before her squadron could reach them, and her revenge would have to be delayed. Still, she considered, in the face of such odds, every victory is a precious.

CIH opts for automatic victory.

CIH inflicts 16.5 on the JF Aero
CJF inflicts 5.75 on the CIH Aero

CJF regains 1.50 FP from damage control
CIH regains 0.50 FP from damage control

CJF forces withdraw from the system
