I don't take it as spite, it's a relevant question.  In my time with/in the FGC/FC games on the other board, I've been a "Roleplay" player mostly, now I've actually got to deal with mechanics, so I beg your forebearance as I blunder along-with Chanman going to GM on the other site, and no other Lyrans about, I'm suddenly in the position of trying to learn the management side of the mechanics as well as cooking up good RP material/storyline goodies to keep people interested and maybe draw in additionals, ('cause, you know, it's more fun that way).

The bit on Jessenice was a matter of me-going-to-the-staff with an idea, and them saying "Sure, just don't monkey the mechanics in a way that pisses people off or we stomp you."

That said, I really do NOT know who hit Jessenice, or why, but I know what happened to the Lyrans there before your recon force arrived, and since they arrived before there was a call for relief, they get to see it before the Lyrans out-system know more than a dim rumour of a possible bandit-raid.

(i.e. the Lyrans don't know how bad it was, or who did it, or why, or what they were after...)  Which, in turn, means that YOUR faction (as they have the guys on the ground) have a very good chance of being the people with the most complete picture of what happened, who did it, and what they were after...

Provided, that is, they actually look for it.  Gives the Hellions (or the Adders) a pretty interesting bit of leverage, possibly, hopefully leading to something cool and neat and shiny for those of us with factions nearby/in the area to play with.

AS for the rest, I've got 'bookwork' to do figuring out what's where, how much, whether it CAN respond, and in what fashion, if any, they are able to react...followed by figuring out how to handle it when I don't have Megamek working yet...

OP: OK. I know the bookkeeping is the most painful of this game. And I have a small faction.

Basically, you have to check what units are at those planet (Not Jesenice anymore) roll where there is more than Militia and voilá, we have a raid going on. BTW, Holt should look in here too, as Mississauga was his atrocity. (Ryuken-roku) And I want that force dead.

Recon Info: Mahone

There are no Lyran Regular forces present, nor Mercenaries, nor forces with much in the way of capital equipment.  What is present, is what the Commonwealth could afford to leave in a behind-the-lines position on a world that has suffered significant damage due to the Arluna Flu outbreak of 3067.

Company "E", Kowloon Coast Guard Marines and the 143rd Field Hospital Detachment.

Radio traffic intercepts indicate the Marines are armpit deep fighting a massive forest and grassfire that threatens to engulf much of the inhabited arable land of the primary landmass-a wildfire started because of an un-tended refinery and a pyromaniac mixed with an unusually dry spring and summer following an equally dry winter season.

Reference Info: Mahone, Arluna Flu damage-millions died on this world, and the planetary government collapsed.  Mahone was briefly administered by the Star League, but that force departed several months ago, leaving behind only a relief contingent to assist a provisional government that is underfunded and dealing with massive public health fallout, including feral animal packs, polluted city water supplies, and a crashed local economy that has yet to recover.  These problems have been exacerbated, according to media reports, by the diversion of National Resources to the losing war on the Clan front-which has effectively stripped away most of the people the Kowloonese advisors were training to take over, as well as devouring much of the planet's prior military capacity, and preventing reinforcement or relief.  Company E has been on-site since January of 3068, recieving a bare trickle of supplies and personnel replacements from their homeworld at (apparently) great expense.

Evening news programmes indicate that casualty figures from the fire-including both volunteer firefighters and the offworlders, are running fairly high.

Hilda had finished work on the connector with strong assistance of her Tech, of course. In Fact, he did most of the critical work to get the ship undock and dock again later. However, she helped. With the loss of the Mission Commander, she had appointed herself. The few Warriors left were now under her command. And after this catastrophe, at least no fighters showed up to blow them outta the sky, she was desperate enough to try the landing. The Jumper Crew worked hard on the recharge and would be ready at least when they would return from the planet..

OOC: I guess all other planets are empty now. What happens to planets having Clanners as guests?

I know of some instances where the people revolted. :P

Time to start the invasion thread, I guess.

All thats left is Santana. What is there?

Going through the order sheet, I find nothing of note in, on, or around Santana that belongs to the LCAF at the moment.  1FP militia.
