The hunt for the remaining guerilla forces on VSW continues.

*Also posted late with permission.

DisGruntled

OOC: The Adders have several clusters hunting for TH guerillas.  I'm not sure if the horses left some forces to hunt here as well so I'll leave that to Parm.

Guerilla Location Roll (need a 10 to find em)
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 2, 2, total 4[/blockquote]

Guerilla Attrition or Battle Roll if we find them for 9 FP (figure it's from several clusters)
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 1, 4, total 5[/blockquote]

Parmenion

Horses roll to find dem nasty Terrans...

[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 5, 6, total 11[/blockquote]

And Battle Roll if required...

[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 2, 6, total 8[/blockquote]

ooc:  22nd Mechanised Assault (Veteran, 17FP)

Point Commander Drizzt listened carefully as the immense forest fed him information.  For four months he and his warriors had traversed the ancient woods learning it's secrets and honing skills long thought irrelevent in a universe long dominated by the Battlemech.

As an infantryman in the 22nd though, the awe many felt as a 100 ton behemoth plodded into view washed over him, without registering.  Alone among the Clans, the Horses honoured all their warriors and today he had just repaid that trust in spades.  The Terran recon party, skilled in their own right when scouting far from base, had suddenly become lax.  This in turn allowed Drizzt and his four warrior companions to discover the hidden entrance to the Terran encampment, long an elusive goal.  Keying two clicks, a pause, then three clicks, into his comms device he had his soldiers take up an overwatch position.

I believe a smallish nudge is in order in regards this one.  With the Horses having found the THAF guerillas.

Once in position, the Horses send a message to the Terrans.  Boiling down to surrender or speedbump.

cheers

The ragged TH Guerillas, cornered and massively outgunned, reluctantly surrender.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Horse battlearmour and conventional infantry quickly round up the surrendering THAF troops.  Usual interrogation follows, although nothing too over the top, as the world has now been secured for CSA.  Speaking of which, Star Adder commanders on planet are obviously informed about the success against the THAF remnants.

All captured THAF troops are tested to see if any are of Wolverine descent.  Any subsequent actions arising from this will wait for a GM response.

Two points...

a.  is there anyone of significance amongst those captured?

b.  what is the FP value of the THAF force captured?

cheers

A) Only a few ranking officers survived this long; the leader of the guerilla forces was a Major. You did capture half a dozen TH soldiers with Wolverine blood; only one of them was an officer (a Lieutenant). It appears that all of the other remaining soldiers with The Blood took poison rather than be taken alive.

B) 2.25 FP of military equipment was still operational, which you captured more or less intact (though many of the higher-tech systems were deliberately sabotaged to prevent them from falling into your hands).
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
