A host of CJF jumpships appear above the Howick system's nadir jump point, escorted by the sleek, predatory silhouttes of the Jade Aerie Naval Star.

A single transmission was released to the system, while the Jade Aerie forces took up blockade positions.

"Warriors of Clan Star Adder, I am Galaxy Commander Nigel Mattlov, of the Jade Falcon Omega Galaxy. I have been given the task of taking this world through honorable combat if possible, but I assure you that if I must invade, I will. Any of your pre-recorded transmissions will be considered a refusal of honorable combat, which will force my Clan's hand. You have untill my dropships reach orbit around the planet, or I will likewise be forced to assume you are denying me honorable combat.

I challenege Clan Star Adder, for the ownership of this planet, and it's infrastructure. I have at my disposal, the Omega Galaxy. With what forces will you defend against my claim?"
