Fatebringer

The TH fighters concentrate on the strongest attack ship with the lowest armor and score some shots in the magazine wells, putting it out of commission, but not ending it's serviceability.

Ground Troops Proceed to the Ground.

Naval / Aero: 204.75 - 26.75 + 2.75 = 180.75
Ground Forces: 497 + 287.25 = 784.25

Salvage Pool: (2d6+15%) (26.75 + 41.25)
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6+15 : 1, 1 + 15, total 17[/blockquote]

Op Round 2

As the Clan ground troops start their final landing approaches for the ground assault, several new waves of jump signatures are detected entering the system. Quickly digesting the operational situation, the WarShips of the THSF 1st Fleet, supported by army aerospace units, move to engage the Clan armada.

(OOC: if you're planning on a stand-up fight, we can move right to combat resolution, otherwise we'll need to roll for operational initiative to see who declares orders first)
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Fatebringer

We still need to see FP totals before we can decide what we're working with. Still, we can roll initiative.

Dave Baughman

OOC- you wouldn't know the TH's totals (and wouldn't neccessarily still know the full extent of them if they held back) until orders are declared, though certainly you could do what the SLDF did at Niops and use a Recon Raid order to try and find out if you were so inclined.

TH operational initiative [blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 4, 3, total 7[/blockquote]

Fatebringer

Well, please note that the "Offensive Ready Reserve" is being called in with the arrival of new TH troops in the system. Units will arrive next turn.

ND initiative
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 6, 3, total 9[/blockquote]

Fatebringer

The Ground Invasion continues, the forces in space will hold in a Defensive Interdiction pattern.

New Dominion + CJF Ground Invasion Roll

Fatebringer

The Dominion is also still waiting for the list of forces they fought in Turn 44.

Dave Baughman

(OOC - I'm pretty sure the list was posted in the T44 thread. Am I missing something?)

TH naval forces will use naval engagement against the Clan navy.

Fatebringer

The Dreadnaught and Quixites along with their Overlord A3's return and target the big ships, while the mass of fighters swarm after CAP's and lighter craft.

Naval Crit Chance

[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 6, 6, total 12[/blockquote]

Raven Marines swim thru the murky depth of space, find the hatches of the THS Terrible Thoughts (Luxor) and get to work...

For Clarification, the RA do have 4 FP of Marines in this battle from the Monsoon so the Crit should be viable.

ND: 180.75 * .55 = 99.5 Damage Done.

ND Warship Threat Rolls

CSRS Dreadnought (Monsoon)

[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 1, 3, total 4[/blockquote]

Well, it does seem fitting that the I would lose ships considering the opposition's strength.

Warship Survival Rolls

CSRS Carthage (Quixote)

Neither of the Warships are salvageable. However, somewhere in the wreckage, Bryn lives... his new suit, compensating with customizes attachments feeding power to his augmentations.

I'll let GM's roll for TH ships.
