She could not do he duty without bringing up the obvious. "ovKhan, request permission to hold back the Carracks and the Vision" Bryn looked at her insulted and threw back his hood. "Do not question my orders! Advance ALL of your ships, NOW!" His steady glow of his eye seemed to pierce into her like a laser. "We have plenty of escorts with our cruisers, certain ships need not be put in harms way. Might I remind you the kaKhan left specific..." Bryn fumed and shouted. "I am in command here and now! I will NOT let them escape! No mercy for the bloodfoul! If you do not engage all your ships at once, I shall come over there personally and remove you from command, am I understood, Star Admiral!?" Sarah was angry at how Bryn was browbeating her in front of her men, but now was not the time to argue and she had no doubts that the man would kill her. For now, prudence was all she had and duty demanded that she must obey. "Commodore Walter, all ships forward, attack pattern Delta-Bravo-Victor. Lead with the Ice Storm, hold nothing back!"

"Admiral, the Terrans are in disarray, they've stopped trying to counter our ECM anymore and are just firing on anything." Sarah looked his way quickly. "Status report" Walter, looked at the holotank "Optical Killer Whale missles do little damage when you kill their operators. We're holding, so far we've only lost the White Cloud. She was a good ship, but we can't mourn her now..." The commodore was interrupted by the Comm Tech. "Sir! Report from the Ark Royal, .... the Vision, ... she's been gutted. A triple barrage of NAC 30's went right thru her stern..." Sarah was furious, "AAaaaaaaaaaaah!" She threw things around the room before she settled back in her chair. Heaving exhaustedly, she covered her mouth. "Get teams to that ship now! Recall all the Marines and get them on it too! I want a status report from INSIDE that ship ten minutes ago! Fire Control! Coordinate with the Ark Royal, find and KILL l whoever just sunk the Vision! NOW!"

She was distracted by her hated, hatred for Bryn Cooper, the man-thing. Once she had her revenge on the Terran Ships that destroyed the one ship she was charged with protecting above all others, even her own, she delegated the rest of the battle to Commodore Walter while she focused her rage on the man, no one would dare challenge. The legendary but insanely mad Bryn Cooper, the man that put that ship in harms way. His string of successes since the Clan arrived in the inner sphere made him untouchable in the Grand Council. His position as the ilKhan's choice to lead the Inter-Clan Navy made him even more powerful, but he'd crossed a line. He'd let history repeat itself, the history that changed the clan forever and she would see to it that he paid for it.
