Actually, please rerolly your HP. Fighter hit die is d8.

Are you using the D&D Basic Rulebook (spine #1011b)? The rules within it are somewhat different from AD&D. If you need help tracking down the book, shoot me a PM.

Make sure you read my post in the OOC thread about the one-time allowance for HP mulligans  ;)
