The Nightlord was 1 hex from getting off. The Adders did some damage to several ships, really messed up one Fox and Conqueor, stripped half a Tharkad and Mjolnir, but in the end, it just wasn't enough.

Without the same firepower as the other matches, the one Black Lion took a CIC hit early seriously reducing the threat of the Lyran group in it's entirety. When the Lyrans finally got into range, the Tracker was quickly crippled once it was a non-issue, the Potemkin took most of the damage. The Lola III took advantage of this and was basically staying in the back and using it's range advantage to secretly do damage. When the Potemkin finally took evasive manuevers, the Lyrans had taken significant damage to a pair of foxes and the Black Lion. Switching targets, the Lyrans successfully eliminated the York after a few volleys of fire, but also lost the Lion. Pressing the attack, the Lola III finally fell after being chased out of it's group. With a four to two advantage, the Lyran Admiral ordered the Missleboats to concentrate all fire on the wounded Potemkin. Amazingly, the critting of the potemkins were severe, but neither of them fell before the last missles fired.
