As the Wolf and Lyran flags were raised over Somerset for the first time in 40 years, the Wolf warriors reflected on their phyrric victory. Samir Kerensky lay dead on the field, along with nearly half of their ground assault force. Moreover, the battlefields of Somerset were littered with the burnt carcases of Lyran aerospace fighters - a sign of the serious blow the until-now unstoppable Lyran navy had suffered. More than one warrior secretly wished that this was not an omen of things to come.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
