You will still be heavily dependent on the Supremacy in trade and overall government functions, but these worlds policy will be micromanaged by you. Of course a non-aggression treaty and mutual defense pact, will be enacted, this way you do not surrender unconditionally. It will be more of an independent region within the Supremacy.
