Specificly Tactical Orbital Bombardment vs the 11th Lyrans.

Chaos how many FP were in the Corinth BG? so we can resolve damange?

Dave Baughman

(OOC: +1 for following through with the orbital strike threat!)

11th Regulars will scatter.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

"Damned all Elsie Dukes to hell and gone! All ships commence firing on the designated targets. Keep your groupings tight, no mistake's today boys. Fighters and Dropships screen incase Brewer' thinks about playing his great great and starts lobbing anything up this way."

"Let's do this by the number's people and end this fight quick!"

OOC:Hmm seems I've been using the wrong ship name in the above. Corinth is elsewhere. Doesn't effect the RP but everyone please change references from Corinth to the Corrine Marik.

Good thing about the new sheet is it makes it SOOO Much easier to figure out the Warship only FP of a fleet (your supposed to subtract the fighters and dship escorts out for the new Warship rules... with the new sheet things are WAY easier to figure that out).

98.75 FP under the orbat rule's we get another 9 2d6 FP Rolls. (its 2d6 per 10 FP rounded to the closest which isnt in the rule but I asked Dave before).

I'll go ahead and order the other 9 because well I just want to unleash that kind of hell.

Dave Baughman

Orbital strike damage is limited to 4.25 FP by scattering (8% of defender FP)

However, 5.25 FP of the 11th Regulars are out of position and cannot participate in the next round of combat.

Rolled 2d6 : 2, 1, total 3

Friendly fire hits allied troops for 2d6 damage

Dave Baughman

One of the 5th Lyran Guards dropships gets popped by a stray NGauss slug on the way down.

(4.00 FP lost -- unless the Elsies make a scatter roll and cap the damage at less than 4 FP)
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Dave Baughman

Damage cap is 6.25, so all 4 damage still affects the 5th Royals.

Additionally, 6% of the unit (2.75 FP) lands out of position due to evasive action and cannot participate in the first round of combat.

"Corrine Marik TF, seek targets and continue Tactical bombardment om my next call." General Cotzee sighed and opened the channel to Brewer. "Your Grace Surrender now."

"Marik, take out targets of opportunity. All units prepare for landing."

Dave Baughman

(OOC: will the FWL do a second round of bombardment prior to the landings? If so, the 11th will spend round 2 retreating into the Defiance Industries complex. If LC troops are engaging immediately, the rebels will have to fight there way to safety.)
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
