You went from exchanging comments with the Wolves to a full blown series of naval simpres within hours.  What about the other Clans present, as for instance, I have the Horses fleet conforming to Raven command.

CSRS Dreadnaught
Monsoon Class Battleship
Tamar System
28 Sept 3069

"What the hell happened!" Star Admiral Mckenna called out. "Their dropships did not engage the CAP Admiral." The ship rocked slightly from an impact. "Signal the Constantineau to move forward with the Hinda Shu and the 1st and 5th TAC Wings to engage the fighters and bring our escorts back to smash these eggs like they were supposed to!" Another impact rocked the ship, this time much harder. "Admiral, the Dropships are making for the Fleet at better then full speed, some have lost control but are still on intercept vectors!"  Her eyes widened. "Stravag! They aim to ram the ships!" With a tilted head, Bryn looked almost bored as he watched her. Still there was a predatory look in his eye. "Of course they are Jacqueline."  She shot him a gaze intended to wound, but she was too busy to focus it properly. Although in the midst of a battle Bryn amusedly smiled at her. "Between the two Potemkins, there are too many Dropships to take them all out Admiral! They are sending everything they have at us!" Jaqueline stayed by the holotank listening to the techs calling out heading and bearings. Warnings being shot to all ships in the path of the spining metal balls that were larger then any NAC round. "Collision Alarm! All Starboard Batteries, FIRE!!" The lights dimmed temporarily as energy surged forth thru the massive weapons bays. "Status!?" The techs replied immediately. "The Hinda Shu is listing Admiral. They focused on her and her companions as well as the Liberator." Admiral Mckenna looked at the screen. "That can not be helped, it has the best anti-fighter weapons and if the Adders loose a ship too, let it be doing what it should be..."

============================================================================

...."I am still in command of this ship!" She said throwing her head back defiantly. Bryn marched over to the Holotank where she was standing. "Aff Jacqueline, but you are also in charge of THAT ship, and THAT ship, and THAT one, and THERE!" Bryn shouted at her, stabbing his finger at the dead marked by the projector. "If you wish to command a Fleet, you must maintain your FLEET! Your failure to spot their tactic in sufficient time to prevent it, ...  was excusable, but your decision to send your fighters to react to their action instead of dictating the course of battle..." he leaned in putting his arm around her shoulder and whispered in her ear"...is unforgivable."  She didn't have time to react as he grabbed her chin into his bicep and twisted her head around, her body slumped to the floor unceremoniously. "Unworthy." He glared around the CIC. "Star Commodore Lester, signal for the Horses to take the place of the Adders. Their coils have proven weaker then I would like." The Commodore didn't stop to agree with the saKhan. Bryn marked how the man snapped to follow the orders. "Perhaps I have been too soft on the crews. Perhaps, your leadership failed to train you properly. In our haste to re-activate the fleet, perhaps a few of the Fledlings made it out of the nest when they SHOULD have been relegated to protomech duty! Are you Fledgelings!?" He shouted out. "No Sir!" the crew shouted back. "Good! Prove that her failings." He said as he kicked the body of the Star Admiral, "were not caused by you. If you fail me, there will be consequences...now, lets go take out that Monsoon like you were supposed to!"

The tech looked at the situation.

"Star Admiral, we took serious losses.  Only the Potemkins were lost among the warships, but, we lost 85% combat effectiveness of the rest of the formation.  It looks like the cowardly snakes are falling back and the Horses are preparing to advance with the Snow Ravens."

Looking around, the Star Admiral stood tall.

"We are warriors of Clan Wolf.  Chosen of Kerensky.  We shall make those who oppose us regret their decision, even if we die in the process.  Prepare all ships, firing line Delta.  Focus on the most dangerous targets.  Let us see if we can remove any more teeth from the mouth of these welps."

CW on Naval Engagement - 108.75, if Fate's math was right.
Marines not included in FP.

The Star Admiral watched as his ships moved into formation.  He could not help but take a swipe at his opponent.

"Tech, open channel to saKhan Coopers ship."

"Channel opened."

"saKhan, I am not sure who your Star Admiral is, but, they have been defeated.  Your ships litter our space now.  You have fought well and I offer you hegira, that you may began SAR operations to gather your crews."

Fatebringer

The answer came in the form of Naval Fire.

If you want to try the delaying tactic, you'll need to win the inititive.

In response to a PM discussion that revealed rules irregularities, everything after the initiative roll has been split off.

We are currently at the start of Step 2 of Operational Round 3. The Wolf Clan has won initiative and may declare orders first.

Quote from: The Rules
Combat Procedure

The general procedure for combat is as follows:

1. Initiative: all involved factions roll 2d6 to determine the order they will declare orders in.

2. Declare Orders: each faction announces its actions.

3. Special Scenarios: any unique rules or conditions should be disclosed at this point (if they have not already).

4. Resolution: play MegaMek or roll for simple resolution.

5. Damage Control: any force that took damage but survived the combat regains 10% of the lost FP (round to the nearest 0.25).

6. Conclusion: in Raid and Battle type scenarios, the attacker withdraws to an adjacent friendly hex (if applicable). In Invasions, repeat steps 1-5 as neccessary until the Invasion has been completed.

Game on, and please contact the GMs if you have any disagreements about how the combat rules operate.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Fate - The role play from above is still valid, but, disregard the orders I posted around it.
