With the familiar ripple, a Lyran fleet slipped into the space above Morges. The LCAF was going to liberate this world.

OOC: I know it's late in the cycle, but I was hoping that some RP that seems to have fallen on hold would get resolved before this. In any case, I gave Marlin a heads up that this was coming last week.

A lone Fredasa Warship sees (what does it see?) the SLDF over the World and decides to retreat rather than throw it's life away.

As dropships disconnected their transports and headed planetward, the LCS Invincible fired a pair of warning shots at the fleeing Fredasa.

SLDF is here first august.  So, we get the world first.

As dropships disconnected their transports and headed planetward, the LCS Invincible fired a pair of warning shots at the fleeing Fredasa.

SLDF naval forces jumped in to scout and secure for the incoming invasion force.  They watched as the Fredessa jumped out of system.

OOC - I am not sure what I am required to post.  But, you notice a SovSoy and an Impavido with escorts.

"Terran boot-licking scum! We will be back and crush you!", Star Captain Hanna Coddington cursed as her "Hellion's Pride" had to flee. Two warships were enough, not even accounting their escorts.

"Star Captain, there is more trouble.", the CommTech spoke vaguely, but soon enough she saw it as well: A big Lyran Warship and innummerable Jumpers with more Droppers, likely Groundpounders.

At least they had gotten view of this threat. Command would have to take care of this. She gritted her teeth in frustration and in preparation of the jump. Morges was now alone again.

<comment>  Marlin, given the initiative rolls and that you decided to bug out as soon as the SLDF entered the system, I doubt the Ice Hellions would be aware of the arriving AR force (unless you have assets remaining in system).

To be fair, its only Militia, so.

"Lyran Citizens of Morges, I am General D'Souza of the Second Division of the Star League Defense Force.  Your Hellion captors appear to have run in fear from us and left you free again.  We will be arriving as soon as our dropships can get us to the world to bring aid and assistance.  Please identify landing coordinates for our forces and have your Lyran militia commander contact us."

OOC - Elements of 2nd Division begin the burn for the planet.  As the militia appears to plan to resist, 6 FP from the 224th Royal Striker Regiment will make a show of force to try to 'convince' the militia to stand down.

OOC: D'Souza is the FWL General who caused trouble on Arc-Royal, no? Are there any FWL units amongst the SLDF force that I would know about upon my arrival? This has potential to get ugly.
