Victoria Star System
Early November 3091Moving quickly to put down the revolt on Victoria, Shark Supremacy forces find themselves interrupting a land grab by Capellan March forces.
ScenarioExpecting to face the rebel Marshigama's Legionnaires, Supremacy forces discover that the 9th Syrtis Fusiliers have done the job for them. Unfortunately, they are also busy hauling up the Federated Suns tricoleur over the "liberated" planetary capital.
Cooler Heads Can PrevailThe Shark Supremacy has the option to leave Victoria to the Suns if they so desire, ending the conflict before it begins. The rest of the scenario assumes that the SS attempts to regain control of the system.
AttackerThe attackers are one or more line items (i.e. clusters or regiments) of Shark Supremacy troops. Additionally, if played in MegaMek one medium aerospace fighter is available for close support for every five tactical units fielded.
DefenderThe defenders are elements of the 9th Syrtis Fusiliers, a regular Federated Suns RCT. The 9th Syrtis recently sustained damage putting down Marshigama's Fusiliers and may only field 80% of the FP (in simple resolution) or BV (in MegaMek) of the attacker.
Note that in MegaMek, the "attacker's force" for the purpose of calculating the 80% should include the attacker's aerospace fighters.
Special ConditionsRaiding the factory: In MegaMek, the FS force may include one prototype DOL-1A
Dola in their force, representing booty stolen from the Shengli Arms factory proving grounds. This 'Mech does not count towards the FS force total.
Terrain Advantage: In MegaMek, the Shark Supremacy is able to take advantage of the knowledge of Capellan collaborators to plan their attack and may chooses the map.
ScoringIn Simple Resolution, standard invasion rules apply (first to win three simple resolution rolls wins)
In MegaMek, each side earns a number of points equal to the percentage of enemy BV destroyed.
- If the winner's score is no more than 24% above the loser's, the battle is a draw
- If the winner's score is 25-49% above the loser's, that side wins a marginal victory
- If the winner's score is 50% or more above the loser's, that side wins a decisive victory
