 After its central goverment fall some years after the independency declaration, Burton`s space was very quiet, expect for the ocasional trader selling weapons to the varios small factions that warred for the planet control. But today that quietness was broken when several jump signatures set precedent to the same number of fully loaded jumpships, all carrying the Taurian crest. Shortly after the jump, the dropship deattached from their motherships, and began its way to the planet.

Sixty days after the Concordat's expedition jumped into the Burton system, a civilian jumpship arrived at New Vandenburg carrying the soldiers of the 3rd Taurian Armored Regiment and the spacers of the 331st and 111th Fleets. The freed men brought a message with them from the breakaway Burton government.

Our forces know this star system better than the back of our hand, and any hostile forces that enter our territory will be dealt with severely.
