Ships began to appear in the Roost space, scaring the hell out of the few mercant jumpships nearby, especially when they detected the huge signature of the New Vanderburg. Fighters began to make a CAP formation around the ships and the warships, and shortly after that, they began to escort the Taurian dropship and its bigger "cousin". A short message was beamed to the surface.

"Regis`s Roost leaders. Your actions againt the Taurian people will not be tolerated. Surrender now, or face the consecuences. Comptroller Carlos Javier out".

Units: The Concordat Commandos, 15th Armored Cavalry, TCW New Banderburg, 121th Cluster Patrol Fleet, 211th and 231th Transport Fleets.

Shortly after announcing his decision to the public, Governor Roslin sequestered himself in his office with bottle of whisky and his old service revolver. Ten minutes later, it was the lieutenant-governor who was now responsible for carrying out her deceased superior's orders (and who was subsequently lynched for "treason" before Taurian forces could intervene).
