FSS New Syrtis

The new "Liason" Office had the bridge on edge. Rear Admiral Kolby Yuan, may have shared the same rank as Vladi, but they were not equals. Even without his own Warship, the prestigious posting of the 6th Syrtis meant he was the one assigned as the Duke's protector in the Skies. His inclusion here to make sure that "someone of authority could follow directions" as the Duke stated, mean that he was always one wrong move away from being relieved of his own command. Vladi personally made sure his men knew not to resist if this happened. They'd all settled up with their fate when they jumped out of Gronholt some months back. With Grambare approaching, Vladi couldn't help but feel that the world looked darker then it should with such a potent sun nearby. "Time to restore the Light to this place men! For God and Davion!"

High above Gambare, Vladi watched as the ships returned from a successful hunting mission. At this point, unless Dark Ships were sighted, or the Capellans or Taurians decided to go nuts, there was only one thing waiting for him after his temporary reprieve, a court-martial. The though of it weighed heavily on him and his crew in the presence of their on-looker.
