When the fighting was done, there was a big party at the Birmsdorf quarry. Tanks were parked all around the rim and makeshift ladders dropped down to the floor below. It was only one night, but to the people that still remained on the backwater rock, it was more then that, they had been given their future back and they watched as more dropships burned into the system with promise of new university and an updated HPG station to replace the one the Dark trashed. It was a good day to be alive.
