Early in the New Year a small convoy of Horse Alliance jumpships appear at Lum's Nadir Jumpoint.  Keeping station at the jumppoint, a message is transmitted to the Snow Ravens.

"Warriors of Clan Snow Raven.  This is Star Colonel Annaliese Cooper of the Horse Alliance.  I bring my command with me today to Lun under the orders of my Khan, James Cobb."

"It is understood that your Clan defeated a naval force recently from the Federated Suns.   It is not for the vessel, but rather, for the entire crew, for which I travel to Lum.  With what force does Clan Snow Raven bid in defense of this mission I undertake?"

(ooc:  30th Mechanised Strike, Veteran/Reliable.  Plus attached transportable ASF force)

Loremaster Klaus Harper: "What you ask for would be difficult. The crews of the Alexander Davion and Intrepid now serve on various ships throughout our fleet. They are Ravens now, living amonst the Unkindness.

... I can only harken a guess as to why this sudden interest in our new Spheroid population. Perhaps, you have made a deal with the Davions to get their people back for them ... a solid move to support an alliance with your new neighbors in the Inner Sphere.

Personally, I can not fathom how someone as bad at declaring a batchall came to a command position, your lack of claiming why you find worth in our people deeply saddens me. Do your people not practice issuing proper batchalls since submitting to your spheroid masters?

... why not. You look like a warrior even if you do not sound like one, and have come to the heart of the Raven's Nest to make your claim. Send over the codices of your warriors so that we may bid to defend our claim to these people.

I envy you Star Colonel Cooper, you have chosen a worthy prize to fight for. Despite over half of the crew chosing bondsref over a place in our society, Admiral Touville has proven quite a fountain of information.

Seeing that most of the mechs in his Trinary had been taken out, Star Captain Dominic Romero stoods atop a downed Horse mech in the middle of the circle of equals and directed the true strength of the minghinate to battle. Redirecting what remained of his Hard Rime protos to coral the wounded Horses with a "Lazy W" formation, he quickly called his point and the others a ledge overlooking the field. The rate at which the Protos dropped was irrelevant.  The vastness of the program that spawned them was well underway ensuring that there would be more replacements and soon. For now, he joined his men as they shot their remaining missile barrage before lunging at the horses...one more time.

10 Reduce damage received by 5%.
12 Force enemy to retreat, increase damage dealt by 30%.
