Vera's head seemed to burst in this unnatural state. Thankfully, it lasted only a moment. Sadly, her TDS seemed to get worse, with no medication around due to another mission for her Command.

Even the crew seemed more worried now, as she could not suppress an animalistic scream.

Some Tech would later ask her 2nd in Command to ask her staying in her cabin until she felt better. Although she was stronger than most on the ship and a vicious fighter, not many liked seeing her suffer like that.

Hendrik Spaunn nearly lost his wit, but he tried to ease it with a cheap remark about the weakness of the Lyrans...

Hendrik approached his Star Commander: "We have been detected. Shall I give command to jump out again?" She just raised a thumb.

"I dare you to go to your Cabin, Star Commander. The Crew cannot bear your suffering. I shall send a MedTech."

Finally, the ship went away.
