Star's End Zenith Jumppoint

May 3091

Senior Merchant Christian had been personally picked by his superior, the old nag Merchant Factor Hollona, to head up this mission to the world of Star's End.  He still wondered how the Merchant Factor was still alive after all these years.  Especially with her body racked by infirmities.  But her mind was as shape as ever, which was why he was here today.

Arriving at the zenith point, he immediately requested clearance to the planetary surface with the intent to discuss matters with the world's leaders.

Fatebringer

The following message was sent in reply.

[CLEARANCE TO LAND - DIPLOMATIC CRAFT 152 - GRANTED - LANDING PAD 24]

Parmenion

Leaving clear guidelines as to departure protocols in case matters went awry upon landing, Senior Merchant Christian transferred to a shuttle and proceeded to the surface.  Upon arrival he disembarked, and...

...could see the progress the lower caste made since their departure to consolidate their worlds around Csesztreg. The port itself was well maintained and as they came down, they could see the hover patrols covering the perimeter indicating they managed to either repair the facility here that was lost, or were just really good at scavenging. A small delegation of paramilitary troopers awaited him at the entrance to the facility.

Senior Merchant Christian, himself accompanied by a pair of Hell's Horses Elementals clad in their own homegrown variant of the Afreet battlearmor, bowed deeply before the Star's End delegation before him.  "I bring you greetings from Clan Hell's Horses, and request to speak with your planetary governor on a matter most urgent.  We wish to discuss bringing Novo Cressidas and the Star's End system back under the aegis of Clan Hell's Horses and welcome your people back into the Herd once more."

Fatebringer

The young man in front of the pack stepped forward and went to parade rest. His clean shaven face and piercing eyes were nestled before a squared away security cap. "That is why we are standing here, quiaff?" He looked over the group of elements and pointed to the most challenging looking of the Warrior and pointed. "You! Are you a trueborn Hell's Horse Warrior?"

The Elemental grinned fiercely beneath his armor, though none could see.  "Aff, little colt.  Shall we step into a Circle of Equals, that I might show you what such a thing means?"

Fatebringer

"I Joshua, represent these people because I am the best fighter on this planet. You honor me with your challenge, should you win, Star's End will will rejoin the Hell's Horse Stable. We ask for nothing in return for this honor."  With that Joshua took off his cap and jacket while his compatriots moved to form a circle with Christian and his honor guard.

OOC: Lets use the Unarmed combat rules from the FGC, Quiaff?

OOC: Good call, I'd say.  Roll all seven at once, and count them consecutively, or roll them one at a time?  I'm down for whatever.

Fatebringer

OOC: Roll individually, there's always the chance I'll get knocked out :P

tassa_kay

OOC:  Awesome.  Note that each roll on my end gets a +2 for the warrior being an Elemental.

Roll 1: [blockquote]Rolled 1d6 : 3, total 3[/blockquote]

Fatebringer

OOC: Add the +2 to your roll so it would be [roll]1d6+2[roll]

Roll 1
[blockquote]Rolled 1d6 : 2, total 2[/blockquote]

tassa_kay

CHH wins Round 1!  [CHH: 3+2=5; CJF: 2]

Roll 2: [blockquote]Rolled 1d6+2 : 4 + 2, total 6[/blockquote]

Fatebringer

Roll 2 (Need a 6 just to tie :P)

[blockquote]Rolled 1d6 : 1, total 1[/blockquote]

Fatebringer

Joshua is injured!

[blockquote]Rolled 1d6 : 4, total 4[/blockquote]
