Walking in to the former home of the Cloud Cobras always seemed strange to Khan Jasmine Yung of the Diamond Sharks, but many things were strange nowadays and this place has been the home of the Merchant Caste Headquarters since they took this world from the Star Adders. The guards just inside the doors came to attention as soon as they saw her, letting her through without challenge, for they knew who she was as Jasmine had been Khan of the Diamond Sharks for almost ten years now.

Jasmine went straight towards the Merchants Factor's office located at the top of the structure, as she entered the office her breath was always taken away by the view from it, she continued towards the large desk were her target was.

"Khan Yung it is always a pleasure to see you," spoke the person behind the desk.

"As you know the pleasure is old mine Khan."

The figure rose up to greet Jasmine, rising slowly showing all ninety plus years of wear on her frame, "Everyone has stopped calling me Khan many years ago Jasmine Yung, I wish you would to." Barbara Sennet moved around her massive desk and gestured towards a pair of sofas.

"What brings this visit to an old woman?" said the former Khan as she sat.

"I came to the inauguration of our newest factories here on Homer, I must say I am impressed by their sheer number is staggering and the orbital facilities I saw on the way in rival those on Lum itself; the Ravens will not be happy with us," said Jasmine as she took a seat.

"Aff, they will not be happy, but then the Ravens are no longer the Ravens they have joined the Bears in their quest to become Inner Sphere lords, one of my few regrets in life is that the Grand Council did nothing to stop that abomination, no clan stood up against them when I attacked the Bears," said Barbara as she dug her nails in to the arm of the chair. "But I am not sure you are here to hear the regrets of an old woman."

"Nonsense Khan Sennet, your insights have served me right even after all these years, but I do have something to ask you. Project Jade was started by you and as you know it has stopped paying dividends, I plan on terminating the project."

The former Khan closed her eyes as she remembered the project and the possibility and repercussions of terminating it, "well Jasmine as you know the main point of contention towards termination is the egress strategy, you need to figure out a way to egress and it still be profitable for the Clan as a whole. Figuring out that part will allow the rest of the pieces to fall in."

Jasmine Yung reached in to her bag and pulled out a data stack and handed it to her predecessor, who took it in her hands and read it.

"Most interesting Khan, I knew some of these steps were being taken already, but I must commend you, these plans show that things are already to go," said Barbara.

Jasmine nodded, "but the main thing is, is it going to work?"

"You do not need an old woman's approval to do anything Khan Yung, but if you wish my council you will have it," studying the data carefully she considered her answer. "Yes, these plans will work, under one condition; no one can interfere. If others stick their noses in this it will turn bloody for all parties."

"But Barbara the Sharks like blood," replied Jasmine.

"Aff Khan, but others blood, not our own."

Both former and current Khans of Clan Diamond Shark silently contemplated those words and hopped that would not happen.

I am Prince Elect Rolph Mangnusson of the New Dominion. As Chairman of the New Dominion Tribunal I wish to invite you to Orestes for some serious in depth discussions that we hope will lead to a treaty that will be benefitial to all involved. The full extend of these other options will be revealed upon acceptance of this offer and arrival at the Riksdag Building on Orestes. The significance of this location should be obvious after our last encounter with the Terran Hegemony. We wish to make a statement about the use of Naval power thruout the universe and all parties invites have fleets worth of our respect.
