Jessica Pryde once more saw the marble-sized world below her, and knew that there waited a host of Star Adder warriors. She hoped they put up a good fight as they had at Hood IV. There was no honor in defeating a foe to weak to defend himself, though on the whole, it seemed that was what was happening with the Adders. The Archon's idea to hit a large swath of planets seemed to be paying off, as the Adders couldn't concentrate their forces to stop the Alliance's advance. She floated over to the communications console on the bridge of her Overlord-C, and put a headset on, keying the console to open a channel.

"Star Adder garrison, this is Star Colonel Jessica Pryde, 8th Talon Cluster, Clan Jade Falcon. I have come to issue a Trial of Possession for this world. What forces will you bid against me?"
