"go, go, go!" shouted Star Corporal Ellen Maddow as she took a snap show with her Ebony Assault Rifle. On the far side of the cavernous parking lot, an enemy agent clutched his chest and collapsed in a heap, his AX-22 assault rifle clattering to the ground. Thank God, thought Maddow as she realized the enormous bombs attached to the structural pillars running through the garage weren't armed yet, a hundred stories of concrete coming down on my head is not the way I want to go out.

The firefight was quick and messy. Judging from the blood trails, several of the terrorists had escaped. The fact that their trail had went cold not far after they left the building seemed to suggest that these were professionaly... but the amateurish way one of the dead attackers' Eagle Corps tatoo suggested they were, in fact, SAFE.

They might be Marik clowns, Maddow grimly considered, but they would have killed a hell of a lot of people if we'd been a moment later in arriving.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
