A long time ago, the woman had been known as Motoko Kusanagi. It was an alias, of course, just like everyone else in her outfit. Twenty years ago, she'd been ready to fight the long fight against the Spirit Cats - right up until the Star League hung Niops out to dry. It had taken a long time and a lot of alcohol before she crawled out of the abyss of despair that had been her new home, but now she was ready to get some payback. A few of her old crew from the Section were with her again too, and things were looking up...

...right until the marines kicked in the doors of her impromptu armory. It was over fast. She had sworn she'd never let them take her alive, but in the end it had been embarrasingly easy to throw in the towl. With a sour expression she realized that this was history repeating itself. Hours before the local authorities can knocking, her "foreign military advisors" had mysteriously dropped out of communication. Once again, she was being hung out to dry... though this time she doubted she would live to regret it.

An unknown faction attempts to incite a revolt on Niops, but are foiled by local security forces.
The team escapes without damage.
